This sweet bread is called "Ears"
But if you look it in this way... looks like a fly!The first time my mom saw one of these (when she was a little girl) she said it was a fly... since then... the ears are called flies in my house!
Sometimes, my mom puts one of those in her lunchbox and eats it at work. Can you imagine the face of her co-workers when she tells them she is eating a fly??

The sweet bread looks very yummy, and what a very nice dress you have. =) Mom smelled funny today and with further sniffing I realized she had been holding a mini you!! I think this whole getting a puppy thing might actually be serious!!
I've been know to eat a fly or two in my time. The ones you eat look a lot better.

When my mom was a pup she used to go hiking and camping with her mom and dad. Whenever they went, they always bought a certain kind of cookie to eat as snacks along the trail. For some reason they got nicknamed "fly cookies."
They haven't been able to find them in a store for ages, and they've forgotten the real name of the cookies so they don't even know how to find a recipe!

Lorenza! Here in Minniesoda, we have sweet bread shaped like "ears" but they call them Elephant Ears! So crispy and yummy. I only had a bite of one once, but I could eat a whole lot of them if someone would give me some!
