Pssst.... pssst..... Thanks! Two and a half years ago I had no idea what a blog was.
One day, my mom was looking for a harness for me. The ones we have here are boring and not the best ones. So, she was surfing the Internet and she typed “Harness for Dachshunds”… she did not find them. But she found The Dachsies Rule blog. She clicked the link and started reading it. She loved it. Then she clicked the links they had and she loved all of them. One day she found the DWB Directory and… Wow! Her world changed. She went there every day to read more and more blogs. After 6 months she decided to start a blog for me. She sent the info to DWB and 2 days later I was the member #454. To this day we have 1233 members! Thanks to Opy and her wonderful parents for creating this pawesome place. It has been 2 years since then. The first two friends who post a comment in my entry were Peanut and Hana. We were so happy! That was the beginning. Since then, I have made lots and lots of friends all around the world.
Many of you have sent me pawesome presents. Thanks to you I have tasted delicious treats and I have played with amazing toys. Thanks a lot for that.
Since we don’t have here pet stores, there are no nice toys or treats. When one of you celebrate your birthday I’d love to send you something but there is nothing good here. And that makes me feel sad. I can only offer you my good wishes and my heart. And it is true… I offer my heart to you all.
It has been 2 years full of good times and sad ones too. We have said hello to new members and good bye to the ones who have gone to the Bridge. We have prayed for the ones who need it. We have shared virtual parties. Contests. Christmas Card Exchanges. Advices. Recipes. Everything.
I live in a country that has a lot of problems. Bad problems. You name something bad… and it happens here. Besides that, it is a country that is not animal friendly. With no laws for us and no respect for us. But I have a wonderful family who loves me and respects me. I don’t know where I’d be now if not for my mom and my grandparents.
And I have you all… my second family.
Thanks a lot for these two years. (And many more to come).

We found out about DWB too through Dachsie's Rule and as you know they are my best friends and Sammy is my fella. You were the first person we went to visit after we joined. Enhorabuena... La verdad, pensábamos que eras más veterana en los blogs.
