I hope you all had a great weekend.
Yesterday we had 104 degrees. Super hot.
I had several pool sessions to refresh myself. Then at night, we were watching Bolt and visiting your blogs. With the air freshener right in front of us. Then, suddendly.... Boooom! The power transformer in front of our house exploded! We went outside to see what had happened. 5 minutes later we saw the truck with the workers trying to fix it. They moved something on the pole and then.... Boooom! again. It was scary! It took them an hour to fix it. We had to have the door opened because it was very hot inside. While they were working, and us watching them we had a dust storm. Finally they finished and we went inside and then when my mom saw all the dust on the furniture she said some bad words. She was cleaning until 2 am!
Today we had a much nicer weather. We went to buy some chicken. I had a walkie and when we came home I went directly to my pool... still wearing my dress! Oh-oh! My mom was not happy! She had planned to change the water in the pool because it was very dirty after the storm but she did not have time to do it in the morning. Sooooo, it was like a muddy pudle and you can imagine how dirty my dress was! Haaa! It was fun!

Those booms must have been very frightening. I don't like loud sounds either, and every time it thunders, I hide. Please don't let anyone know that as I am trying to maintain a tough tomcat image.

Lorenza - you look so pretty in your orange dress. We had about the same temperature as you did, but we were happy to not have clothes, and ran around nekkid! heheheh. We have El Pollo Loco restaurants here too. Sometimes our girl goes there, but she never shares with us. Maybe next time we can convince her to share.
