Thanks Olive!

Yesterday night, I got a package with the presents that Olive sent to me for the Christmas Gift Exchange that Jazzi organized for us!
Let me tell you what happened when the Fedex man came to my house. We were about to go to our house when we heard the ding-dong. My grandma went to see who was there and I was behind her. He told my grandma... "This is a package for Lorenza V. Is she at home?" My grandma told him... "There she is"... He looked at me, I was wagging my tail to him... His face expression was priceless! Then he told to my grandma... "Well, I guess she is not going to sign the acknowledgment, right?? Haaaa!
Then, my mom told me I had to wait to open it until today because she was charging the camera's battery! Hmmmm...
Sooooo, today, as soon as my mom came home, I was ready!

Big package!

Let me see... let me see...

Olive's beautiful card!

Olive sent to me pawesome presents! 2 big packages of low fat and organic treats, a squeaky bone....

Which I took that very moment...
Then... my mom let me have a treat!

Delicious!

Then... "Designer Poopie Bags"! And those made me laugh a lot! I have never made poop outside my house but these pawesome bags are giving me ideas! I will let you know how it goes, ok?

I love my presents!

Thanks Olive and Mom!
I feel ashamed that you had to spend a lot of money sending the package by Fedex!
The treats are very yummy, the bone is pawesome, and my mom can't wait to use the poop bags!

Today was my turn...

Today my mom came a little bit earlier and I was very happy until she said... "Vet". Last night she saw me dragging my butt on the floor soooo... it was time for another "butt squeeze"! When we got there he was waiting for me so it was done in a few minutes. Then my nails and that was it!
Later we went out for a walkie...

Lots of pee-mails!

Then we saw this Snowman! I am sure Frankie's mom would like to have him in her house!

Then...

I saw the Cocker girl who is always there all alone...

I wish she could come with me!

I hope you all had a pawesome day!

The Treadmill...

My mom wanted to install her new treadmill. She read the instructions and she knew she needed help. She asked to a co-worker if he could come to my house and give her a hand. He came yesterday afternoon...

Can I help you mom?? Please!

Here I am... on top of things...

Maybe my lasser vision can help him to do it faster...

This part looks fine...

Ready!

Then they took it inside my house.

A quick post...

My mom came to home very late today. She had an appointment with her Doctor to see how it goes that kidney rock in her body. Well.... it looks like the rock disappeared! She is no longer in pain and all the tests were ok. She has to go to see him again in 3 months just to make sure there are no problems.
While I was waiting for my mom, a truck came to deliver something for her. It is her own Christmas present...

It has been more than 5 hours... and I can't stop laughing!

Have a good night

The Story of the Fortune Lambs...

3 lambs... one for my grandma's house, one for my auntie's house and one for my and mom's house!

Well... we really don't know where it comes from. My mom "asked" to Google for some info but she could not find anything! But, 5 years ago a friend of my mom gave to her the first one. Her friend told my mom to put it on her Christmas Tree. Right on the center of it so the lamb gets all the energy from the lights and ornaments. Then, the first day of the year you need to put it on your front door. The lamb needs to have a red ribbon around its neck. The "tradition" says that having a lamb on your door lets the abundance to come into your house. Wool in spanish is "Lana". A common way to name money here is "Lana". Soooo... the lambs with their wool mean... They have the money! And... very important... you must not buy the lambs. Someone has to give it to you as a gift. What do you do with the lamb from the last year?? You have to give it to someone else to share your good fortune!
My mom says that the "abundance" has not come into our house but we have enough to live everyday without worrying if tomorrow we will have something to eat. And that is very important, right?

This is our lamb that has been on our door all this year...

What I see??

To the right... a nice and blue sky...

To the left... a dark and scary sky!
(that happened in the same street!)

Better start walking before it gets all dark!

Thanks Karen!

We are followers of Dragonflyinteriors Blog which is written by Karen and Patsy, her beautiful assistant and they live in Australia. Karen is a Dragonfly obsessed, as she describes herself. Visit her blog and you will see what she means!
Last month, and exactly the same day of my birthday she made her Monthly Giveaway for her followers.... and I won!
Today, the mean mailman, who BTW has not brought me any Christmas card, came to deliver an envelope!
Let me see what is this...

A nice little bag...

This is difficult....

Mooom.... please open it!!

Its a beautiful beaded hand-made bracelet, made in the north of Vietnam!

Karen said the bracelet did not fit pretty well Patsy so she decided to give it to one of their followers and here I am modeling it. It did not fit me either so I told my mom she can wear it!
I am sure my mom appreciates my gesture!

Thanks Karen and Patsy!
It is beautiful!

More arrangements....

This morning I was taking a nice nap.... when my grandma told me she wanted to make some arrangements to our Christmas tree... and of course I had to help her...

But first.... I made my own arrangements...

Then she put here the Fortune Lambs. Hmmm.... wrong place. You need to put them on the tree until January 1st and then put them on your front door...

You are doing it great, grandma...

Oh-oh..... no more ribbon....

Well.... at least it was enough to finish it...

Here is how it looks now....

I am going to be here to protect the tree from more changes...

Do you think they have already finished??
I hope so!
