When I started my blog I never thought I could get an award. But now, I know it happens!

Today my mom came home with a present for me. She said she saw it in a little store and thought about me! Of couse she thought about me because it is a doxie dog! And I liked it a lot! Even I didn't want to eat my dinner when it was time. So my mom had to take it away for a few minutes while I ate. Later I got it back and played with it until it was time to go to our house! My mom doesn't buy me many stuffie toys because lately I don't play with them, I prefer small balls, but maybe this one is special because I don't want to leave it alone!

As soon as my mom gets her clothes from the washing machine, she has to iron them. For her work she has to wear a uniform everyday. This unform consists of cotton shirts and jeans. So, you can imagine how they wrinkle! She hates to iron and more in this time of the year with the hot weather that we are suffering. But she is happy because I am always there to give her my moral support, as you can see from the pictures!

Well, I have to admit that ironing is tooo boring... so I had to take a little nap! Awake or not I was there!!

Sundays are not to cook. That is what the chef (my grandma) of this house says. So every sunday we buy our lunch. Today my mom and my grandma wanted chinese food. We went to a mall that is near our house. Of course I had to wait outside with my mom while my grandma bought the food. My grandpa wanted tacos so she also got them there. We came back home and when we were ready to eat my uncle came with some italian food. My lunch was veggies and rice soup. So, as you can notice this sunday we were very international! I have to say that besides my soup I got a little bit of the other food! And it was yummy!! Well, my mom says that being edible everything is yummy for me! And she is right!

Like Ruby, I was not tagged to show my smiles but I wanted to do it anyway! As you know I am a happy girl and I like to smile a lot!

Finally the internet-man came to fix it! I did not bark at him because I knew he was coming to help us, so I acted very friendly with him. He went to check my mom's computer and the modem and later he went to the roof to check the cable. He said the problem was the cable (as my mom thought) and changed it. He even made the connection from a different pole. And in just 20 minutes it was done. When my mom came home she was so happy and went directly to turn on her computer and.... ooops... it didn't work. The screen was frozen and the starting program wasn't running. As you know my mom knows zero about computers so she started to panic. She tried the normal ctl+alt+del and nothing. She chose the worst solution, you know, disconnecting the power, nothing! So she was sitting there looking at the screen, trying to think about something that would work. Her last option was to unplug the modem and... ta-da! It worked! Now we don't feel isolated! Thanks for your good vibes!!

We did that slogan thing and one of the slogans we got is... "I bet you can squeal like a Lorenza". My mom says that suits me! Do you remember about my name? Lorenza means crazy.

Mom!!

This is what happens when your mom doesn't know what to do with her hands! We were watching the All Stars Game last tuesday and she started playing with my ears. I asked to her to stop but she still did it! Soooo, my best option was to let her be!!

It's been a week since we are waiting for the internet-man to come and fix our connection. Result?? Nada! Even today my mom went to the company offices to make the report personally and they said that today afternoon they will come..... Nada! Good thing my mom is more sturbborn than me (?) and tried and tried and tried to get connected until she was able to do it!

Now I am asking her to visit your blogs from her office... of course if she has some spare time... to know what all of you are doing!!

Enough!!

Sometimes I sleep like you see in the pictures. Yes, under the pillow. My mom says that I am a little crazy (?), because last night it was pretty hot and I chose to sleep in that way. There I was deeply asleep and of course my mom had to begin with that flashy thing!! There is no safe place to hide from her!! I am thinking that she wanted to take revenge for that bath I wanted to take at 1 am because this picture session took place at 1 am!!

We still have problems with our internet connection. I don't know if it was the rain or those men who made a mess with our cables, but it works only for a few minutes every day. Sorry if I haven't visited your blogs, but as soon as this gets fixed I will catch up, ok?

Rain... again

This are the treats that my vet gave me. They are yummy!!

This is the present my mom got from our neighbor. Its a shinny bracelet with little butterflies.

Today the men came again to finish the insulation of the roof. I suppose I felt like I already knew them because I didn't bark at them. So, I let them work peacefully. Other than that it was a very quiet day. Other than getting a frostie and a treat, nothing special.

In the afternoon I made fun of my mom. There is a joke here in Mexico which says that if you wash your car it will rain. Today that joke proved that its true! My mom took her car to a car wash that is 2 blocks away from our house. She left the car there and came home. An hour later we went walking to pick it up. When we were in our way to the car wash we saw a dark cloud over our heads. I thought it was not good. We got there and as soon as we got into the car it started raining... a lot! Fortunatelly in that place they give you a tree day guarantee, so she can take the car there in the next tree days to get it "re-washed" without cost.

I think sometimes my mom is victim of a strange case of bad luck! I hope one day she can revert that!

Looks like snow!!

Today was barking day for me. I barked at some birds, at some noisy cars, and at lots of people who came to my house. First the mailman came and I barked at him. Then someone looking for an address came and I barked at him. And theeeen.... someone else came, they were 3 persons. My grandma opened the door and talked to them. And I barked! Then, they came in and went to the roof, and of course I had to bark! They were making a lot of noise and later I heard a funny sound and I wanted to know what was going on.... and my grandma didn't let me get close! Later they left our house.

When my mom came home I told her about all those men and their noises. We went to our house and my mom let me go out to my railing and what I saw amazed me! It looked like yellow snow! And I was so happy but my mom told me that it was not snow. (Silly me, how can we have snow with 106 degress??) No, it wasn't snow. Those men came to make a polyurethane insulation.. They say we will have a fresher house. I really hope so! The fans and coolers are not enough for this hot weather!

I will let you know if that is true or they came to make noise, spread that yellow thing and to make a mess with our cables as you can see from the pictures!

Today, while many of you were celebrating, I had a fight.... yes.... a human-dog fight! My grandma had the nerve to brush my teeth!! When I saw her with that thing in her hand I knew something was about to happen to me. I tried to run away but she trapped me. I tried to escape again but it was impossible! So... I gave up and she won! It was not that bad, but I had to make it hard for her. But some times you win, some times you lose.... it wasn't my time!!

Today morning our neighbor came to our house. She brought a little present for my mom to thank her for calling my vet to come to check her dog and help her to get better. My grandma told her that it was not necessary, that my mom did what she thought was right. Anyway, she told my grandma that she was very happy because her doggie, Moni, is doing pretty good. She is in her road to a full recovery.

Later my vet came to give me a bag of treats! He said he was passing by our house and that he wanted to say thanks for our trust to recommend him to our neighbor. Strange things happens sometimes!

In the afternoon while we were walking I saw Moni and I wanted to say hello so I got close to her house and she started barking and barking at me! She had pneumonia so she still barks pretty fun, but it is obvious that she is feeling a lot better.

Following your recommendations my mom is going to make me frosties with peanut butter! I'll tell you if I like them better than her "originals".

Today I made a discovery. I hate flies! They are the most annoying creatures I ever met. Let me tell you. During the day I did all my normal activities, you know, eating, playing, napping, walking, etc. Later I went to take my post as a watchdog. I was there relaxing on my pillows, watching people and cars, barking a little bit. Everything cool! Then I saw something.... two flies! They were going and going. Suddenly they begun attaking me!! I tried to trap them but oh boy! how they fly around!! They were not to fast... but obviously faster than me! I didn't have luck. My mom had to kill them. It was the only way I could continue enjoying my time there in the railing. My mom says that every day you learn something new.... well.... yes... today I learnt about flies and how I hate them!
