Finally a sunny day...

I love sunny days...

Contemplative...

Lazy....

Then I gave a look at my street and I thought it looked perfect for a walkie...

I heard my doggie friends...

And I really enjoyed being outisde...


Today my mom came home earlier. There was a problem with the power at her office. The power company said it was a general problem and that it could take more than 2 hours to restore it sooooo... everyone went home and my mom was the first! Haaa!

This morning we woke up with temps of 40 degrees, then 50, 60...

When we went out for my walkie it was around 65 degrees. It was sunny but the wind felt a little bit cold.

And now, at 8 pm we have 82 degrees! Even my house is colder than outside!

Is the weather crazy or what??

BORING WEEKEND...

Cold and boring...

We had a very cold weather all the weekend so we had to stay inside home.

No walkies but my mom made me run around all the house so both of us had a good exercise time.

Then, we watched Mad Men like Mad Women. 13 chapters of season 2!

It was until 7 pm that we noticed we have 66 degrees.

Crazy weather!

My mom went to see her Dentist again. This time it was much better. All the time she spent there she was mentally saying... "I don't feel pain... I don't feel pain... I don't feel pain..." She says it worked! Hmm.... I think what made the trick were all the meds she took during the week but I don't want to disappoint her!

One more appointment and her torture will be finished!

When she left the clinic she went into a store that is next door. I guess she was in a kind of "shopping mood" and she found....

Her favorite singer's CD...

A pair of very warm socks! Made of microfiber. Green is not her favorite color but those were the only ones!

And.... of course something for me too! Pajamas! 6 of them!
Yes. They are baby t-shirts. But they fit me well and I like to think they are my special pajamas!

When she came home she showed to me the things but what I really wanted was to go out for my walkie. No luck. Outside was cold, windy and rainy!

Giving her the look for not taking me out! Hmmm... the look did not work....

Sooo... I decided to watch tv... the two of them!

Today was again very cold and then we had rain! Sooooo... no walkies for me. But I had a good time playing with my mom...

Then I told my mom about a package the mean mailman brought to me in the morning...

My friends Angel Perry, Emma and Emmy sent me a Christmas present!

Their family tradition is to ship and give away presents on Perry's birthday Dec 13th!

My mom let me open it...

It was a hard work....

I love them! I can't wait to wear them...
The bikini will be perfect to wear next summer when my pool comes out...

It is cold here!

A short walkie... I did not see any friends!

We had a very cold weekend... and we started this week very cold!

40°F it is not normal for us. The weatherman says that we had not had these temps in more than 15 years! And it will be colder the next few weeks!

I feel sorry for my mom who has to go to work and her office its not very warm.

Maybe I will let her take my blankie with her!

Cards, pain, cold weather...

These are the cards I had gotten until this morning.... then....

The mean mailman came! He brought me 26 more!!

Ta-Da! And I asked my grandma to leave them there for a little more time...

This is the first thing I saw this afternoon when I went out for my walkie... And I looked at them until they went to another street...

Sniffing....

There was something very interesting here...

And while my grandparents went to the church... I stole my grandpa's chair!

Well... let me tell you what happened with my mom yesterday. She went to her Dentist appointment at 11 am. She was there until 2.20 pm... Her Dentist is trying to save her tooth with endodontics but could not finish the work. It was soooo painful. He had to apply 4 shots of anesthesia. They did not work. He said my mom has the worst case of sensibility he has seen during his whole career! And he found a calculus into the tooth! My mom thought.... "Maybe that is the kidney rock that never came out" (Idiot mom!).

My mom knows that the bill will include all the kleenex she used for all the crying!

To make it short... she has to take lots of antibiotics and meds to reduce the inflammation and then to go back next thursday and maybe... maybe the Dentist can finish!

My mom thinks she is paying for and old sin with all the pain she has been suffering!

And today... today was my turn! I went to see my Vet. It was time for my annual tests.

But I did it better than my mom. He stole my blood and I did not cry!

We waited for the results and... I am perfect! All my levels are normal and my thyroid is working well. My weight is pretty good too!

The rest of our day was very relaxing. Here it has been very cold (for our standards) so we enjoyed lots of time under the covers.

We went out for my walkie and when we came back I went to my grandpa's chair to take a nap while my mom was on her treadmill. Yes... she is using it. 30 minutes everyday. Not a lot of time but I guess that is better than nothing, right?

Yes!

Good morning mom... did they come??

Yes! The Reyes Magos came during the night and they left me some presents!

2 sweaters (never enough), a squeakie ball, a tug toy and 2 chicken legs... my favorite toys!

The Reyes Magos did not bring me treats this time! Hmmm...
But I am enjoying a lot my toys!
My old chicken legs do not squeak any more soooo.... I spent today giving my grandparents a squeakie concert!

Today my mom had to go to see her Dentist... again! And he stole another of her wisdom tooth! And she has to go back there again tomorrow to get another tooth fixed!
She has had very bad teeth since she was a little girl. Then she used those wires to align teeth and they did more harm than good! And nowadays she is paying the consequences!
Her Dentist told her the procedure could be painful sooooo... she is going to take the afternoon off! I promise I will take good care of her!

Look! 10,334 steps! Only for our walkie!

She uses this thing that counts her steps. The goal is 10,000 steps per day...

I want one of this things too... I guess I would double that amount considering my short legs!

Now, I am going to sleep so I can wake up early to see if the Reyes came to my house!

A New Year treat...

My mom told me she was going to let me eat something different to start the year... And I am here asking her about it...

A turkey leg... with a little meat

It was delicious!

Here I was about to chew the bone...

And my mom took it away!!!

Well.... I have to admit that before giving the bone to me, she took the meat out of it and put it in my bowl to enjoy it with my kibble. But she wanted me to have a taste of the bone too!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my friends around the world! I hope you all had a pawesome time welcoming the New 2010 Year!

Here in my house we did not do anything special. My grandparents, my mom and me, were ready to have a nice and simple dinner and we planned to go to sleep early. And then... "ding-dong"... and I went to the door to see who was there... My auntie Claudia came to visit us!

First I took a place on the chair to have a better point of view...

Then I wanted to be part of the conversation... Can you see my Auntie's face?? My grandma told her something and I was embarrassed to hear that!

Then, my grandma went to the kitchen to do something... and my Auntie's attention was

all for me...

I loved having her here with us...

Here she is leaving... Today she went back to China!
