A dehydrator??

De-li-cious!!

Some time ago, my grandma was talking with one of her cousins about the chicken jerky that I love to eat and about the fact that we can't get it here.
My auntie told my grandma that she had a dehydrator and that maybe it could work for chicken jerky.

Well, yesterday night my auntie came with the machine and today morning my mom went to the supermarket to buy chicken breast. As soon as she came back she wanted to start but... the machine came without instructions! Soooo.... she did what she could and how she thought it was right!

We waited for about 4 hours and it was not easy because it was smelling very good. Finally my chicken jerky was ready!

I tasted it and I liked it a lot.

Next time my mom is going to cut the chicken thicker because the treats are like "chicken chips", which I don't care... they are yummy!

Today is Independence Day!

I am going to the Plaza!

Today is holiday here so we went to the Plaza this morning. There were lots and lots of people. My mom did not take many pictures because she was worried about me being around all the people. It was nice that everyone told me I looked pretty and very patriotic. One lady asked my mom for permission to take a picture with her cell phone and of course I posed proudly for her!

And many others asked.... Is a boy or is a girl?? C'mon! I was wearing a DRESS!.... Boys don't wear dresses!

We were there for about an hour and then we came home to have lunch and now I am ready to enjoy my mom at home for the rest of the week! She will be back to work until next monday!

Saturday morning walkie...

This morning we went out for a walkie. Well, it was not my walkie. My grandma was making breakfast and she needed milk. So, my grandpa asked me if I wanted to go with him and of course I wanted!

Running back home for my breakfast!

Then, this afternoon I went for my normal walkie. My mom noticed I did not want to walk. We were out for about 15 minutes and came back home. She gave me my dinner. Then, I did not want to play with her. I went to the sofa and I sleept there. About half hour later... I puked (ewwwwwww). My mom cleanned the mess and waited another hour and gave me some kibble again. I ate it and everything seems normal. I am going to the bed now. My mom hopes it was just something I ate that made my tummy angry.

No rain today!

After a 3 rainy days finally I could go out for a walkie! And the doggies on the roof were there to say hello! Haaaa! This time I did not bark at them!

On September 16th we celebrate our Independence Day. It is the day when at 12 am everyone screams "Viva Mexico"! And my grandma is making me a special dress for that day! It has the colors of our flag! I can't wait for that day!

Today my mom had an "interesting" day. The company she works for celebrated another Anniversary. Everyone was happy having a nice lunch. Then, they knew there will not be salary increases this year! Haaaa!
Those certainly were not the best news but my mom is thankful to have a job knowing that day after day more people loose their jobs due to this "bad economy" that I don't understand pretty well!

Soooo, when she came home, she told me that Santos was going to play this night so I had to wear my lucky dress.... and it worked! It was not a pawesome game but at least they won.

Later, my mom turned on her laptop and it said there were actualizations ready to install. She let them run and Oh-oh! One of them were for Internet Explorer. She installed it and now it is a mess! She does not like the new version. One of the things she noticed is that we can't see your pictures in the comments! Is there a way to go back to IE7??

The weatherman told us that we are going to have a rainy weekend! I hope he is wrong!
