Henrietta!

While we were walking, we met Henrietta. She is Dorian's daughter! She is 2 months old and she is super cute! We saw Dorian too, but he was far away running and barking.

It took me a while to finish reading all the pee mails that were left in this truck!

Its FRIDAY! And we are very happy. For some reason this week has been very long for my mom. All she wants is to be at home. We will be taking lots of naps, going for walkies and watching tv!

My mom says I am silly (?). I have a basket full of toys. Looking for one of them to entertain myself I found my old collar. I like it a lot. I was chewing it for more than 2 hours. Simple things are the best!

No power

My house looked like this last night! We were without power since 9 pm. We were starting to read your blogs when this happened. It was very hot and you can imagine how is like to be without air cond, air freshener or fans! It was caused by one of your dusty storms so even the windows were closed! Nightmare!

4 months ago...

Today....

Do you remember this dress that my mom bougth me 4 months ago? As you can see in the first two pictures it was very thight! Well, I was very fatty! The last two pictures show how it fits me today! I lost 6 pounds. My vet says that this is a huge difference. I have not lost any more weight during the last month but I have not gained any either. My mom hopes to mantain me in my actual weight. I've told her that it is easy to do that if you don't get treats! Mean mom.

Saturday!

Today was another sunny and hot day. So for my walkie my mom decided to take another route trying to avoid the sun (silly!). There were lots of doggies in ther houses. And then I met two friends who were walking with their girls. Danilo and Poppy. One of the girls said that she had seen a another dachshund just like me passing in front of her house but she was sure it was not me because the one she saw had a different dress! The other gilr said that I looked exactly like the other one. My mom told them that I was the one they saw. A different dress?? Yes. They did not know that I have 50 dresses! The first girl said "Poor Danilo... he only has this t-shirt!"

This is what my mom and my grandma had while they were watching the golf....

It is called "Esquite". Its fried corn with onion and chilli. They say is yummy.... I really don't know because they did not share it with me!

Hot day!

Today we had a very late walkie. We went out at 8 pm. Can you see the sunny pictures?? We decided to wait a little bit hoping that it was not going to be so hot. We were not lucky. At that time we had 96 degrees! It was really hot and I did not want to walk. So my mom decided to run! And of course I had to follow her. It was fun but I ended sooooo tired!

This is me when we came home. My mom took away my dress. I had my dinner and I went to rest on the cold and nice tiled floor! Yes, I know I said I wanted hot and sunny days but... but... but....

It is a shame to speak about our bad postal service but, yes, I got Ben's Christmas card today! 4 months later! The envelope is dated December 6th, 2007.

Finally my grandma is fixing my dresses and my mom is helping her and I just wanted to play. I love my dresses and I want them to fit me right but, I want to play too! My mom was sitting on the carpet so I brought my blue bone and asked to her to play with me. And she did it for almost and hour until she got tired. Maybe tomorrow she can continue with her task!

Ta-da!

The closet is "fixed"! It took my mom 2 days to finish but she made it! She took away 4 big bags of clothes and shoes that she had not used for more than a year. Now all the summer clothes are hanging there and the next big task is to iron them! With the hot weather that we have now sure its something I would not like to do!

Can you see this doggie?? He is on the roof of his house. We were at 98 degrees.... and he had a sweater!!!

Here we have very few "green areas" and of course I have to sniff them!!

Today we watched lots of sports. Santos won! Yankees won! Lorena Ochoa (golfer) won! Formula 1 Ferrari won! I guess it was a good day!

My long weekend with my mom is almost finished but sure I enjoyed having her at home all these days!

A mess!

First of all I want to wish MARVIN a very Happy Birthday! I hope he had a great day celebrating with Jeannie and his Dad. Oh, boy! I miss him a lot!

This is how my house looks now! My mom has been taking out of the closet almost everything. She said it was going to be a one day work.... but I think she underestimated the job. If she is lucky, she will finish next sunday!

Since she was not going to finish today she decided to take a break and out we went for a walkie. The fresh air made her feel better. I saw a big black bird trying to grab a piece of cardboard. It was too big for him so he gave up and flied away! Other than that, nothing interesting! But a good walkie always makes me happy.

My grandma went to the doctor today morning. Her problem is an urinary infection. And she has a little bit high cholesterol. So, from now on.... she is on a diet..... like me!!!! She has to avoid many yummy things that she likes a lot.... like me!!! And to take some meds to get better.... like me!!! The doctor said she is going to be fine in a few days. I want to thank you all for your good vibes!

I will be supervising my mom tomorrow and making sure she finishes the cleaning thing!
