43°C = 106 degrees

Please, somebody help me! I am burning! Today we had the highest temperature of the year. We were at 106 degrees! I don't remember having this temperature in all my life (?) but its true, its really hot! So I've spent almost all day in my mini pool.

This is the best place to be in a day like the one we had today

Then when my mom came from work, she said it was a good time to make my mini frosties (I can't call them frosty paws because they are not). My mom has the simpliest receipe for them, but let me tell you... they are yummy!!

One banana and two cups of zero fat yogurt

Add smashed banana to yogurt

Mix them

Pour it in an ice cube container

And now all we have to do is to wait until they freeze and I can enjoy them. And I hope it can be today later.
So while we waited, my mom decided to put in order her shoes (she is ashamed of having them around our bedroom). With my help she did it pretty fast.

Better, right?

I hope you had had a great day!

That is way to hot. Mom said it might get that hot later this summer. I will stay in my house. Your pool looks nice for you to cool of in though.

Ok, those look fabulous!!! I have never had banana's. I will have to get my human to try that. She usually makes ours with the fat free/low fat yogurt, and pumpkin (not the pie filling type) and then puts it in the ice cube trays too. I LOVE pumpkin, and it's great fiber for me and tastes GREAT!!

Buenos Dias Lorenza,

I have little pool too. How great is that? It gets hot in Melbourne too, but now it's winter. Those frosty paw treats look weally good. I'm going to have to teach my mum how to make them for me.

Ohmydog that's hot! I don't think I've ever been in weather that hot. You definitely deserve the Frosty Paws (I think those count! They look better than the ones we have to buy!)

Stay cool (in all ways).

We got some Frosty Paws and Bailey barfed! I think that your mom's recipe is probably better than Frosty Paws from the store.

Oh! That is too HOT! We hope your pool and your frosty treats help to cool you down. (We have only gotten up to 93 degrees here and we were in the house in the air conditioning.) Mom says she is going to make some frosty treats for us! Thanks for reminding her, you are a good friend.

Wow those "frosty" paws are EASY to do and I love banana and yogurt...thank you for sharing this with us.

If it were anywhere close to 40C here, we would all surely melt. Mom has a fit if it's 28C!!

BIG hugs from Billy Boo:)
