My grandpa
Our breakfast
Grandpa's cakeToday as all you know was Father's Day. So, it was my grandpa's day. First my mom made pancakes and waffles for breakfast. My grandpa is diabetic so he can't eat a lot of things. One of those things are waffles, but he like them a lot and he said today was a special day and he wanted at least one, so he had it and I got a small pancake.
Later we had lunch, and again he had a whim. He wanted "tortas" (similar to a sandwich, but with another type of bread). And later they ate cake. (I got nothing!).
I hope he doesn't get sick tomorrow.
We watched lots of sports. Golf, the US Open. Soccer Football, Mexico-Costa Rica. Formula 1 and finally Baseball, Yankees-Mets.
I spent almost all day as a lap dog. Yes, at my grandpa's lap. My mom says that seemed like I knew that it was a special day for my grandpa.
The sad part its that the weekend is over and we have to go back to normal days!

You were so sweet to spend most of the day on your Grandpa's lap. We bet he loved every minute of the day...who wouldn't like sitting with a pretty little girl like you on his lap. We hope he will be OK tomorrow and everyday. Our Mommy has diabeties too & she doesn't take very good care of herself. We keep asking her what will happen to us she is gone. After all we don't have a Daddy or a Grandpa...just a Mommy.
Do you think you could give your Grandpa a big hug and a bunch of kisses from us since we missed out by not having a human or doggie Dad around?

Looks like you had a wonderful day with your Grandpa. Your Mum's pancakes look better than my sister's. But at least I had some pancakes. Mum sneaked me some.

My Great Granny has got diabetics too. So no sweet stuffs for her. Well, ocassionally Mum still treats her to her favourtie fruit, which is very sweet :p

Your grandpa must have had a wonderful day with his pretty Lorenza in his lap. You are the perfect size for a lap dog! (We didn't realize you and Roxie are about the same size until we saw the picture with your grandpa!) All those foods look yummmmmmy! If we didn't love our mom so much, we would move in with you!

What a sweet girl you are, Lorenza. I think your grandpa loves you very much :)
My mom likes tortas...they're yummy. She has learned to cook a lot of Mexican dishes since she met my Dad 7 1/2 years ago! She makes something really yummy smelling called "mole", but I'm not allowed to eat it cuz it has chocolate :( What's your favorite food?
