Today we had a very nice weather. It was not to hot and we had many activities.

Like two months ago, someone gave to my mom as a gift a bag of homemade granola. She said it was very yummy. She kept the label because it has the address where you can buy it. So, this morning we went to look for that address. It was too funny because my mom didn't know that neighborhood, so of course, we got lost! The streets there are named after flowers, trees and fuits. My mom didn't have any idea how to start there. She asked for directions and nobody knew where that street was. My mom went to a little store to ask the same and the person there said "Take this street, go straight 16 blocks, there turn to the left, go straight 8 blocks then turn to the right and 9 blocks ahead you will find the street you are looking for". My mom thought that those were very precise directions so it shouldn't be difficult. Wrong!! Can you imagine going there driving and counting blocks?? Well, she tried and we never found that street. My mom decided to go back home. And guess what? In our way out of that neighborhood, she found the street! and it was 2 blocks behind that little store! My mom said some bad words. That man was mean! Finally we got to that place that in fact is a house, my mom bought her granola and the seller gave me a cookie! It was delicious!!!

Then we went to make some photocopies that my grandma needed. Then to the gas station. Then we went for something for my mom's cell phone. We couldn't find a place to park the car so we walked a lot, but I enjoyed it, because I didn't know those streets and there were so many new smells for me!!

When we came back it was time for lunch. We took a loooooong nap and when I woke up I wanted to play so I went to look for my chicken leg toys and asked my grandpa to play with me. I like a lot my chicken legs because they squeake pretty loud and that annoys my grandma!! I played for an hour or so and then I took another nap!!

We went out for another walkie and that was all.

Tomorrow is Sunday and I can't wait to have my pancake for breakfast!!

Maggie's Party

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAGGIE!!!!

This is just a quick post because I am ready for Maggie's party and I am waiting for Girl Girl or Simba to come and pick me up!

Since I didn't have enough time to go shopping a costume and as you know my mom doesn't have a new credit card yet, I chose this dress. Its not spectacular but its new and I think is nice for the party.

I am so excited because this is the first party I will go with all my new friends. I hope we all have a great day together! Really... I cant wait!!!

My closet

This is my mom's closet

And this is mine!

Everyone in this house had a closet. My grandma, my grandpa, my mom. And me?? I had nothing. But one day my mom got tired of having all my dresses around the house. Some in the bedroom, some in the living room... well even in the kitchen! So... one day she came home with a pair of cardboard boxes and some fabric. She said she was going to make a closet for me. She did some measurements and cuts. She used lots of glue too. At the end of the day she finished it. And she put there all my dresses. And I know pretty well that they are there inside. Everyday when my mom says "Vamos" I go where the closet is and try to open its door to choose the dress I want to wear! But now we have a problem with the closet. Its too small. My grandma makes me a dress almost every week, so now there is not enough space for them. My mom thinks she needs to make an addition for this or maybe a new one but bigger.

Well, now I need to go and choose the dress I want to wear for Maggie's Birthday Party!

Treats and tags

Today my mom came with this big bag of treats. 150 rawhide sticks!! Doing some maths and considering that I get one a day, this bag will last me around 5 months!! And they are yummy!!

Well, going to a different topic, I was tagged by Luckie. I have to tell you things about my family. My mom says our family and her job is soooo boring, so I will make it short.

As you know I live with my grandma, my grandpa and my mom. My grandpa is an Engineer. Now he is retired, but he worked many years for the government. Now his job is to play with me during the day! My grandma is a desperate housewife (ha-ha!), and as you know she sews (my dresses mostly), she likes knitting, stained glass, embroidering and some other crafting. She does all those things while she plays with me too. Like my grandpa her main activity is to take care of me during the day!

I have two uncles and one aunt but they live in different cities. I get to see them twice a year. My aunt is the one who is Natasha and Spike mom.

My mom works for an american company (thats why she had to learn english -not pretty well but she tries-). This company has bussines all around the world. My mom works at an industrial plant. There they process oil seed to get vegetable oil. She is in charge of the Purchase Department. She purchases from a pen to complete big equipments, according to the requirements from the users. She says that at the beginning it was very hard for her because she knew zero about industrial processes, but day by day she got the idea and now is much easier for her.

There is no dad for me. She told me that she was engaged twice. In both cases she had second thoughts and her best option was to say NO WAY! So, she is still waiting for Mr. Right (ha-ha-haaaaaaaa!) If you know him, please let me know!!

What else.... She used to smoke a lot, but she quit when I came to live with her. That is another reason I am good for her!!

She likes cooking but as you know she doesn't do that pretty often. Just in special occasions. Christmas dinner is her speciality. Some times she bakes cakes and cookies for me!

She likes to watch many sports. Baseball and golf are her favourites. She also likes cross stitch and knitting. She used to paint but not any more. She says her inspiration genius left her long time ago!

There is not to much to talk about my family. I hope this helps to know my family better.

Now, here comes the hard part, I have to tag tree friends soooooo.... they are The Dogs of the Jackman Ave. Ruby and Toby. I hope you all want to play!

Sun bath

Looks like the rain has gone for now. Today we had again a sunny day. Besides playing and playing until my grandma got really tired I thought it was a good idea to get a sunbath. I went to my railing and I stayed there for a long time. I took some naps, barked to the birds and to some people passing by my house. I watched the cars coming and going.

Later we went for "our" walkie. We met one of your neighbors who asked my mom who is my vet. Her dog has been sick for many days and the doctor who has been taking care of her dog hasn't been able to know what is wrong. My mom called my doctor asking him to come to see our neighbor and he was here like in 10 minutes. I hope it is not to late to help this little dog.

Now my mom is going to bake cookies for me. I hope this time she follows the receipe. I don't want to tell you what happened the last time!

Today was my mom's birthday! Same day as Copper and Sir Chance-lot!

We had a mini party for her. My grandpa bought two mini cakes, they were only for my mom and my grandma, because as you know he can't eat sugar. We sang the Happy Birthday and she opened her presents. (She got some others but she forgot them at her office).

My mom hates pictures of herself, I don't know why, so I had to look for this which is the only one I could find, it was taken last december at her office's Christmas party!)

Yesterday, finally we had a very nice weather. It was so sunny!!

My grandma needed to run some errands so she asked my mom and me to join her. I got all excited because as you know I weren't able to leave my home for many days due to the rain. So there we went. We went to a hardware store, to a notions store and to a supermarket. While my grandma went inside the hardware store, my mom took me to see some dogs at a pet store that is near that hardware. There I saw a little dalmatian who barked at me a lot. And I said... "whats up with you little dog?"... I am a friendly girl I don't understand you!! And also I saw a bunch of little tan and black dachsies. I wanted to go inside and play with them but my mom didn't let me do that!! And right in the next cage there were 2 kitties!! Finally I met kitties!! Well if you can say I met them because they were in that cage inside the store but at least now I know how they are. (I could change my meme now!).

That was my saturday morning which I enjoyed a lot.

Bitey-hand

The weather is so crazy. It rains. It stops. Its hot. Its cold. What is that!! Around 6 pm the rain stoped and the sky was clear, so I waited for my mom to come home to take me for my walkie. She came and said "Lorenza, vamos!". She put me on my harness and when we came to the front door... it started raining again!! So the walkie was cancelled. I was not so happy of course and let my mom know about it!! I had my dinner and we went to watch some tv. It was soooo boring!! I wanted to play and my mom was there doing nothing so I thought... what can I do to entertein myself?? "Click"... bitey-hands! I know many of you have brothers, sisters or non-human friends to play bitey-face with, but me.... poor me..... there is no one close enough to play with sooooo.... my best option is my mom!! I can play this game for an hour or so and of course I always win. The game finishes when I get tired or.... when I hurt my mom's hands and she decides to stop it. Today I played with only one of her hands because as you can see, the other one was taking the pictures!! That thing about taking pictures of me has became an obsession for her!!

Well, the weekend is here and I will spend two complete days with my mom. I like that. And I know she likes that too!!

New toy

Today I found a new toy and I've been playing a lot with it.

Noooo! Its a slipper!

Of course this slipper belongs to my mom. I found it in her closet. I am so sorry, it was open and I went there inside and the temptation was huge. I could not resist and I took it. Yes, she was not very happy. Afer playing with this slipper for a while, I left it all slobbery, so now, it is officially MINE!

I don't recommend you to do what I did, but sometimes we can find toys at the most unsuspected places!
