The rain gave us a break....

Rain, rain and more rain. The last 3 days we have had lots of it. Yesterday was the worst day. When my mom left the house to go to work, she thought that a boat was what she needed to get there! In the afternoon when she came back, was still raining. Instead of my walkie, we ran around the dinning room. Later, we started reading your blogs. Around 10pm, we lost the internet connection. We waited for a while.... nothing. My mom checked the phone. There was line. Hmmm.... Then, she thought that maybe it was the router. On, off, reset... nothing. We went to sleep. This morning... nothing. It was until she was at her office that she knew that there was a general problem. Nobody in the city had internet! And, when they called to the internet supplier and they said there were working to fix it but that could take from 24 to 48 hours! My mom admits that... everyone at her office was happy thinking on going home earlier! They were not lucky enough... the connection was up 30 minutes later. And she HAD to work full day!

About 3pm, no more rain. And I could go out for my walkie.

The first thing I saw when I came out of my house...

A very cloudy sky....
And 2 blocks ahead it started raining again, but it was a very light rain.

My mom tried to make me go faster but...

I took my time to smell the plants...

And the flowers...

And to pose for pictures...

Until I noticed that my dress was getting wet, I decided it was time to go back home!

Have a good night

That's a lot of rain, Lorenza. Now here, right now, we could use some. Normally we get plenty, but I think you've got all of it right now. I hope you get some pleasant sunny days real soon.

Hi Lorenza, thank goodness the internet is back - our mum says there used to be no internet!
She now cannot imagine having to live without it - even for a short time.
You were right not to rush your walkie - it is important to sniff everything you can.
We loved the blue dress and hope it didn't get too wet.

Lorenza what a beautiful dress. It looks like it has a nautical pattern on it.

We could certainly use some of your rain. I will say the last few days the temperature has been very pleasant. June was the hottest June on record for our city.

Sometimes a nice rain is fun to walk in!

At least you got a chance to go out and smell the flowers, even if it was a quick walk. At least if the computer was down, your Mama should have had more time with you and more time to rest? They do tend to get frustrated when they happens don't they. They should just relax like we do and not worry about it if they can't fix it! BG
