How I got my name?? That is a mystery. I guess it was just something my mom thought when she got me and we were coming home.
December 23th, 2005. My mom “rescued” me from a mean Vet. I was very sick and he did not know about it. Can you believe it?? But… that is another story.
My mom and my auntie went to get me. As soon as my mom saw me… she was in love with me. When we were coming home, I was on my auntie’s lap. And she asked to my mom what was going to be my name. And like a flash my mom said “Lorenza”. My auntie looked at my mom like if she was joking. Nope. She was not joking. She wanted Lorenza.
Lorenza is a strong name but not very common here in Mexico. And that is because it has a second meaning here. If a person acts in a weird way, instead of telling him/her “Are you crazy?” you say… “Are you lorenza?”
Well. As soon as I came into my new home, like any puppy, I started doing silly things and then, all my family thought that my name was perfect!It is very funny to see the reaction of the people when my mom tells my name. It puts a smile in their faces and we hear lots of…. “What”?... “Really”?... and “Haaaa’s”!
