Helping my grandma...

What are you doing there, grandma?

Can I help you??

Can I??

Lets see...

OK! You are doing a good job, grandma!

That was hard work!

**********************************************
When my mom and her brothers and sister were little pups, my grandpa used to take millions of pictures of them. He liked to use one of those things where you put the "pictures" in a carrousel and you could see them in a wall. He had around 200 of those carrousels. With the time and all the movings during the years, many of them got lost.
Yesterday, my uncle asked my grandma to look into the ones we still have for some pictures from a soccer game he played like 30 years ago! It was a big task because the boxes were not marked. So she had to look at them one by one. It took her like 4 hours to review all of them... and she could not find any! Haaaaaa!
The only good thing about it, is that my grandparents and my mom had a nice time looking at all those old pictures remembering things that made them laugh.
******************************
Have a good night
Besos

It is fun to look at those photos. My momma and grandparents have the same type that they look at sometimes.

I don't understand why some people would do that instead of digitals, do you? Is it possible that there was a time before digitals?

You appear to be an excellent little helper Lorenza!

Lorenza,

My mom's dad did the same thing. My mom recently looked through a bunch because she remembered a place they used to camp and she's always wanted to go back. She's thinking of taking all the slides somewhere to have them put on a dvd with music and stuff. She says she'd look at them alot more if she did that.

Oooh, my human also loves looking at old photos...she has boxes and boxes of those! She used to put the photos into big heavy books called "albums" but now that the camera machine feeds the pictures into the computer, she has stopped doing that - which is a shame coz we can't see the pictures unless we look in the computer...

Hey Lorenza,

Are there any pictures of you as a little tiny puppy in those slides?

We sure would like to see you, did you wear little tiny dresses too?

What a lovely way to spend a few hours - sharing old memories. The little man's mom recently scanned in a whole lot of old photos and was able to email them around the rest of the family and they were delighted. It's lovely to be able to look at old photos and remember times past.

Take care
