Fixing day...

Finally today I could wear the other dress that my grandma made for me...

Here I am posing for the camera and ready to go out...

My grandma noticed that the skirt was too long and somehow without form...
And as soon as we came back home she fixed it...

Ta-Da!
She put it on me (no picture) and it looks better...

After eating my dinner, we went to our home and then I remembered what Mazyie said about the big bird monster in her house. I know that Twinkie is the expert giving advices but I think I have and idea for Mayzie.....

Take a screwdriver and get rid of the bird "wings" like I did!

I hope this helps you, Mayzie!

Have a good night

Hey, does your Grandma buy patterns for your dresses or does she design them from scratch? My mom just bought our puppy a pattern for a shirt... A Hawaiian shirt!

Mayzie said...

Lorenza! You are a GENIUS! Gosh! I'm gonna talk to my mom and dad about this right away! Clip the bird's wings! Now why didn't I think of that?

Oh, and I thinks you look Most Beautiful in that dress, even before your grandma fixed it.

What a lovely dress you are wearing, Miss Lorenza! The dress is very casual yet fancy at the same time; a perfect dress for dining out or for a day at the beach!
Ummm....as far as the birdie wings getting clipped, I wonder if you should rethink that idea because I think the wings are supposed to help keep your home cool and comfy on warm days and I would hate to think of you wilting in the Mexico heat! Just sayin'....

Your new dress is so pretty and so stylish - denim is really cool and chic. Your Grandma must be a good seamstress to be able to make that fix so quickly.

Great idea on the fan for Mayzie. WE like our fans, they help keep us cool in the terribly hot weather we are having now.

Great idea for the bird monster Lorenza. We hope Mayzie tries it.
We loved your pretty new dress. Your grandma has such a good eye for colour and design.
We could see it was not sitting just a prettily at first so we are glad your clever Grandma sorted.
The underskirt should stiffen the fabric - we often wonder if your mom irons your dresses using starch as they do sit so well.

ps we both were very unhappy at mum trying to get a red scarf on us the other day so we would never manage dresses!!!
