I went out for my walkie this afternoon and I saw what the cold weather made to the trees and plants in our neighborhood...
A bulb plant?? Now I know where the bulbs come from!
Almost all the trees look soooo dead...
I guess this is a "hug yourself tree"....
This plant.... almost dead too....

Since my surgery I did not want to play a lot or to be very active. My walkies were very short and I just wanted to have my dinner and then go to sleep.
My walkie today was longer than the last few days.
I am the one who decides which way we should go and how long I want to walk.
Today we were out for about an hour and when we came back, I had my dinner and after that I wanted to play with my mom. And she was very happy for that!
And right now, she is typing my post with one hand and throwing the ball for me with the other one!

We think there will be a lot of trees and shrubs with problems with the severe winter so many had this year.

We have weather just like you! Everything is gross and brown now. We hardly ever get any of that white fluffy snow! But give it a few weeks and everything will be green and blooming beautifully! Glad to hear you are feeling better after your splurgery!

Da winters are so dreary and dismal...but den da spring comes and everyting comes back to life....well, almost everyting. I tink we losts a couple plants dat won't come back...ever!

Even with the dead plants we think it looks very beautiful where you live. But we do hope your plants perk up soon! We saw some of our tulips peaking out from under the snow yesterday so spring can't be that far away!

Sorry I haven't been by in awhile, I've been so busy with school lately. It's hard to keep up with everything sometimes.
I used to let my dogs choose the way to go but now we walk on a path and there's only one way to go.

Mommy said I must have longer walkie so that I m able to come home if I wander too far aways, but I promise never to go anywhere without her.
