DIY project going... slowly

And the little brush on the right side is the culprit!

You know, my mom bought big brushes and even 2 rolls to paint the walls. She hated the effect of the rolls on the walls. The big brushes are... too big for her. Soooo.... she has been painting with an old 3 inches brush! Now you know why my mom has not finished yet.

Aaaand what started with just painting the walls went to some other projects... and the mess is still here...

Helping my mom to get rid of a plastic cap belonging to a spray can...

Working hard on it...

Am I doing a good job, mom??

Now... what is this for??

*Sigh*

I can't wait for the day everything is going back to normal in my house!

Have a good night

Your Mom is like our Mom's Dad - he always painted the walls completely with a brush - he hated the rollers. And Mom says he always did a great job. Be careful with that plastic cap, Lorenza - don't eat it, just chew it up. Ciara can tell you that it isn't always a good thing to eat stuff:(

Hope the DIY project wraps up soon.

Lorenza you did your pawt quite well. That Cap certainly needed to be..gotten rid of.
I'm thinkin' that your mom should have let you dip your tail in the paint and help her brush that paint on the wall.
It will be beautiful when it is finished.

Lola and also Franklin, too said...

It's going to take a while that way, no doubt about it. I wish I could help. I think my tail would make a pretty good paintbrush and Franklin would probably be willing to help you get rid of some of those plastic tops if you got behind in that.

I think we're going to be living with projects for a long time here, too. Just because the old folks move kind of sloooowly.

lotsa licks, Lola

We don't even remember what "normal" is in our house any more. We just look around everyday and wonder.

Oh! We talked to OurGirl tonight, and she said the knotted bracelet from your mom was wearing thin (she wore it every day and night ever since she got it), and, to keep it safe, she took it off tonight. She said it made her kinda sad ... but the beads and strings are now safe on her bulletin board.

Just wanting you to know ...

Hi Lorenza!

We always leave the painting job with our hu-Uncle. Piappies Mom can only paint her nails - toenails that is.

Helping out with plastic covers can be lots of fun!

We do hope the paint job is over and do give your Mom lots of licks and hugs too. =)

Mom doesn't like the rollers either, but recently helped repaint the visitor center and admin building at the park. She found out if you get a long pole, it goes so much easier. If they hadn't given her one, she would be painting with a brush too!
