Papers for her mission...
Got it!My mom's US Visa expired on May. She had been trying to renew it but due to all the problems here in Mexico it was not possible.
The closest US Consulate is located in Monterrey, that is 190 miles away from here. Instead of that she had to go to Guadalajara, that is 490 miles away.
She spent around 1000 US dollars for all the tramit and was nervous because you never know if you are going to get it! No questions about her job, or bank account or anything else.
Just one... "You are single, right?"... "Right".... "Have you ever been married?".... "No"...
"OK".... "Done"..... "Next!"...And that was it! For the next 10 years she can go to the US without a problem!
Not that she goes there very often. In fact, she has not gone there since I came to live with her! But she likes to have it available... just in case.
She came back today at 3:30 am and I was really happy to see her.
Enjoying "my bed" again!Thanks a lot for your good luck wishes. Of course they worked!

I can't believe that they didn't say, "Oh, you are Lorenza's Mom. Ok then.. your are one fine lady and you may have your papers now." hehehe
Now that she's got that passport, maybe you can convince her to take you on a vacation to visit blog friends in the States! I know how happy I am when Mom or Dad comes back home -- I'll bet your tail is still wagging!
