Practicing sad eyes.... Its not working!

Finally my mom could upload the pictures from her new camera thanks to your advices. She made them smaller and TA-DA!!... Let me tell you that she was so desperate that she wanted to threw away the camera! She thought she had made the worst purchase of her entire life!! You know, she is that silly!!

Now she has another problem... she tried to upload a video.... She used u-tube, she got the code, she copied and pasted in a new entry of my blog and it appears, but twice! Somebody knows what is she doing wrong?? If you know the solution please let me know!

Well as you can see from the pictures, last sunday when my family was having lunch I tried to get some... but my begging act was useless... I got nothing. Maybe it was because my mom was there. She never gives me any of her food. And always tells my grandparents to give me only my kibbles or veggies. Lucky me, during the week she is at her office and sometimes they forgive her instructions and give me some of their lunch, but please keep my secret!!

Thanks to Butchy, Snickers and their mom for naming a koi after me. This is a great honor for me!

Things I like to do

Thrawn from the Brat Pack tagged me to talk about Things I like to do.

1.- Where is your favorite place to sleep?

I have to favorite places to sleep. The first, during the day is right outside my grandma's shop. Its cool and from there I can watch my grandparents moving around. The second, at night, its my mom's bed, well its my bed but I share it with her!

2.- Is there a specific trick your humans make you do to get treats?

Nope. I don't have a good trainer, so I get the treats whenever I want, without moving a paw!

3.- If you could spend an entire day doing anything at all with anyone what would do and with whom?

I would like be with my mom all day long, but I only have her on weekends. I like to go out for walkies, run errands, take naps with her and stay right beside her while she is watching tv. I love my mom and I always want her to be with me.

4.- What is your favorite toy?

I have many favorite toys, but the best are my plastic balls and my chicken legs. They squeake and I like that.

5.- If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?

From the past, I'd change not being spayed in time and had to endure a second surgery to remove a mamary tumor caused by hormonal disorders. From nowadays, I wouldn't change any single thing. I am so happy living the life I have being with my mom and my grandparents, getting attention and being spoiled all day long. I have love, food, toys, and like Ruby said.... lots of friends with DWB around the world so.... what else I would want??

Oscar, mi amigo.

Dear Oscar, run free at the rainbow bridge and wait for us who will join you someday and we will play and run together.

This is a very sad day for me and my mom. Yesterday, when I read about him being sick, I never thought it was so serious. I was hoping to hear good news about him. But now, knowing that Oscar is no longer with us, makes me feel very sad. He was a happy and energetic young boy. He was a gentleman too. It was a joy to read his blog. I was so happy when I read the comments he used to leave in my blog. I am going to miss him a lot.

From here I want to send his mom and dad kisses and hugs.

Naps

Zzzzzzz!!

Zzzzzz!!

Zzzzzzz!!

Today was a hot day. I didn't want to do much. So I took many naps. This is the coolest spot at my grandma's house. As you can see, same spot, different positions.

My mom came home earlier because she had a headache. So she went to bed to sleep a little and of course I had to join her. Later, when she felt better we went for a walkie. When we came back I had my dinner and then we started reading my friend blogs.

It was a shock for me to read that Oscar is at the hospital!! Our happy and healthy friend is sick!! His mom said that he had been chewing a remote control and later he had a scary encounter with some dogs while he was outside walking. From there he was feeling sick. I don't know what is happening with him but sure I hope its nothing serious and he recovers soon!!

From here I am sending him good vibes to make him feel better soon!! I am sure tomorrow we will be hearing good news about him.

Dear Oscar, I am praying for you. Get well soon!!

Believe me mom, I saw another mosquito!!

Good news and bad news.

Good news. My mom went to the store to tell them about the camera and they checked it. They didn't know what was wrong but gave my mom another camera. She came home and did the same thing than yesterday. She charged the battery and when it was ready, she made a test and the camera worked pretty well. She took some pictures of me (of course!) to post in my blog. She installed the software and everything went well. Buuuuuutttt....

Bad News. She couldn't upload them. The images are there and she did the same procedure as always but something happens when she tries to upload them to my blog, the process starts but never ends. It took her like 10 minutes per every try and it can't be uploaded! Now, she really wants to cry!

So back to the old camera!

While my mom was battling with the pictures... a mosquito came and sucked my blood!!! My mom saw this and killed him. Maybe my mom made a big scandal to kill him because I started seeing mosquitoes everywhere! I was sure I saw one behind (?) my pillow and I tried to chase him. I wanted to do the same thing as my mom did with my own paws!! I couldn't get them, maybe I scared them and flied away in panic!!!

This morning my mom told me that today we were going to buy our new camera. And I said "Finally!". So I waited for her to come home. I was there at the window hoping to see her coming home. She came and there we went! As always, while my mom went into the store and because I wasn't allowed there, my grandma took me for a little walkie, which I enjoyed a lot because I could smell new and different things. We were far away when I saw my mom and started running towards her and that made my grandma almost fall down! We came back home and my mom was pretty excited about the new camera! She read the manual and put the batteries to charge, she waited and waited until it was done. She prepared the camera and said "Lets take some pictures"! ..... Guess what??? It doesn't work! She turns it on and is on, but when she tries to take a picture it doesn't "click", its blocked! Ha-ha-ha!!!

Remember I told you about her bad luck?? Well, the bad luck is still with her! She can't believe this is happening to her! Now we have to wait until tomorrow to go to that store to check what is wrong or get a another one!

If you know something to estrange that bad luck from her I will appreciate you let me know!!

Today morning the mailman came to my house bringing a parcel for MEEE!!! I said ...What?... For me??? This is the first time in my whoooole life (1.8 years old) that I receive a parcel! And it is from our friend LUCKIE. It came all the way from Singapore!!!! She sent me a very nice note and delicious treats! A big cookie, salmon and cheese treats and the others have a form of knots! I don't know the names but they are yummy yummy!! (I have to say that better than the ones we get here!!)

Pastel Azteca

Precious tagged me to talk about my favourite books. I have to say that I don't read too much, but my mom has read some. She likes to read about Frida Kahlo and novels. I can't show pictures of them because we don't have them. My mom buys the books, reads them and always lend them to someone else and she never gets them back! She likes to watch Food Network and has gotten some cooking books and those are the ones she keeps. By the way, yesterday she made Pastel Azteca - Aztec Cake -. It is made with tortillas, chicken, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and hot sauce, and let me tell you that is delicious!!

Ok, back to the books, the only one I have is "50 uses for your dog", its very funny and I like to see all the pictures!

Hey, get down!

Hi, nice to meet you Carlota!

Sniff, sniff

Today I went to the vet to get my nails clipped. There I met two kitties! It was the first time I saw kitties face to face. Her names are Renata and Carlota. Renata is mean! She doesn't like dogs and she let me know that! She never came down to play. Her mom put her in the floor and when I got close to her she started making very funny noises and yelling at me (I don't know the words to describe her reaction but I think you know what I mean) so I understood that the best thing to do was ignoring her!

Carlota is very friendly. As soon as she saw me, she came and started playing with me, well at the begining she played with my leash, I think she likes pink color! Later we were playing and running around. I had fun there! I know that not all the cats are as nice as Carlota but at least my first experience was great!

A little bit wet, but clean and smelly!

I know that 99% of you think that I am a crazy girl because I like baths. But believe me, it is true!! I love baths!

Today when I saw my mom taking my towel out of the closet I knew it! I was going to get a bath. First I wanted to be sure that she had everything.... towel? ok!.... soap? ok!.... shampoo? ok! Then I went directly to the shower door demanding her to let me in. Then the water started running and hu-rray!! I got my loved bath!! I like the whole process, since the anticipation of the bath to the finish when I am all clean, smelly and fresh!
