Frosties!!

Today we woke up at 7:30am... and we had 96 degrees at that time.

I had my breakfast while my mom was reading the newspaper. Then, we watched one of the World Cup games. Then my mom decided to go to the kitchen to make homemade frosties for me!

Natural yougurt and peanut butter... nothing else.

To make sure the ingredients were right I had to taste them.

First the peanut butter... Yummy!

Then the yougurt.... Yummy!

Then... they were mixed...

Then I ate it! Haaa.... Not really....

7 frosties... one per day.... a whole week!
They went to the freezer!

A delicious and cold treat for a very hot afteroon!

My grandma finished the first dress! She is very fast!

I wore it for my walkie today...

The Church in our neighborhood its being remodeled...

I had a happy walkie!

Now... I am ready for the beginning of the World Cup!

Yesterday afternoon my mean mailman came to deliver a package for me. And it was a pawesome surprise!

Beckett included a beautiful card where he says that his mom saw the fabrics and she thought of me! I love them! My grandma loves them! My mom loves them!

Here I am waiting for my grandma to start sewing my new dresses!

I hope she can finish them soon!

Boring sunday...

Well... yesterday my mom dedicated almost all day to my grandma. In the morning, they went to the supermarket and later they went to celebrate to a restaurant. When they came back, the ladies baked some cookies. A task that took them a lot of time due to all the chatting they had.

No cookies for me but my mom told me she is waiting for something for me, which I hope is food related!

Soooo, today was cleaning day... I got tired of looking at my mom going up and down from the ladder arranging things in the closet. At the end, I had to make a supervision to make sure she did it right...

From here looks fine...

No dust here...

I guess you did a good job mom....

After I finished the inspection.... I came out of the closet (literally) and did some more inspection work around the room until I found my ball!

It was a hard day...

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

These are the sandals my grandma chose for her present...

I am afraid she is becoming a centipede...!

Yesterday, as I told you, my mom and my grandma went out shopping.

June is the birthdays month in my family.

My grandma's: Today June 5th

My grandpa's: June 7th

And their wedding anniversary too!

My mom: June 25th

Soooo, they got all the birthday presents. Sandals for my grandma, sandals for my mom too (of course), a newspaper suscription and some pants for my grandpa. They went to the supermarket and to end their morning a visit to their "groomers"!

When they came home, with lots of bags I inspected all of them looking for something for me... I found... nothing! Hmmmm....

Today early we went out for a walkie

I saw a bird...

I tried to reach it...

But the bird flied away...

When we came back and my mom uploaded the pictures she noticed something funny. The last time I wore this yellow dress, I did the same thing, in the same place and she took almost the same pictures!

Hot day...

This is what I have been doing all day long...

In... out... in.... out....!

We had another very hot day. When my mom came home we had 104 degrees so we went for a very short walkie and back to home.

Today at noon Mexico's soccer team played their last game in preparation for the World Cup and they won 2-1 to Italy! That was historic! My mom watched the game while she was working and she could not celebrate in the way she likes... I mean... jumping and screaming!

I think she and her co-workers need to ask for permission to watch the games because they are going to be in the morning soooo....

And... I am going to have my mom at home for 3 days! She is taking friday off. My grandma's birthday will be next saturday and my mom asked to her what kind of gift she wants and my grandma told her that they could go to downtown to see some shoes. So, a shopping friday is in order!

Fixing day...

Finally today I could wear the other dress that my grandma made for me...

Here I am posing for the camera and ready to go out...

My grandma noticed that the skirt was too long and somehow without form...

And as soon as we came back home she fixed it...

Ta-Da!

She put it on me (no picture) and it looks better...

After eating my dinner, we went to our home and then I remembered what Mazyie said about the big bird monster in her house. I know that Twinkie is the expert giving advices but I think I have and idea for Mayzie.....

Take a screwdriver and get rid of the bird "wings" like I did!

Sunny and rainy day....

Thanks to all of you who were concerned about my suddenly absence. I did not do it on purpose. Someone stole all the phone wire in our neighborhood leaving us without phone or internet for 5 days. I wanted to make a long post about that but then I thought... life it too short to be complaining about the things we can't change. We do our part trying to be good people and hoping things will be better here in Mexico soon.

We had a mixed weather this weekend. Sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy. So, in the afternoon, we went out for my walkie before the rain could get us outside...

I saw birdies having baths... and I wanted to join them!

I looked for the mean barking doggie...

Then... the sky started making noises and we had to run back home...

Here I am anticipating my yummy dinner...

5 minutes later, the sky was getting dark...

And then... rain again.

And that was the end of my weekend!

Santos.... lost the final

I did not have a happy sunday... Santos played the final game for the Championship and they lost! In the very last moment. They failed to score two penalties.

Hmmm.... there is always a next time, right?

It took us 4 hours to make this post. We started it at 7pm and then we had a very big "tolvanera" (dust devil), that of course took away the power in our neighborhood. I wonder why these things happen when we have 90 degrees. It is very hot inside our house and we can't open the windows due to the dust!

It is almost midnight... and I have not been able to visit your blogs. I promise I will do it tomorrow!

Nice walkie on wednesday...

Since today was a very hot day... my walkie was veeeeery short. But even so...

I took my time to smell the flowers...

Hmmm... not really. None of them were at my level but it was nice to look at them...

Huh?

Haaaaaa!

Sorry doggie. You can bark at me all you want... but I am the one who is outside enjoying a nice walkie!
