I totally understand how bothersome it can be to see doggies pawing under the stove for a long time because my cats and my coonhound do it all the time! You are smart and left the "rat" alone! Good girl!
Ahhhhh Lorenza we knew it you are a lovely lady not a sentry. Good for you just stand back and let the terriers take care of things for you. Happy Easter, Madi and Mom
Oh, but I bet there WAS something under there that the humans didn't see. My dad has a saying...always trust your dog. Sometimes we know about things that they don't! (That's why I think you were Most Smart to runs away!)
We are happy to see Natasha and Spike are visiting you again. I bet there was a big fat rat under your stove and that is what Natasha was warning you of. That's what us Rat Terriers do! BOL
I love your new dress and the pawesome background!
We make sure to stick the skinny thing from the vacuum under the oven and fridge once in while - it's amazing how much kibble ends up under there, only to be discovered by Sam months later.
I totally understand Lorenza. You my dear are a "Badger Hound", and since Badgers are fierce animals and your majestic breed of Dachshund were the ones to go into the tunnels and drag them out!
My point you ask? Of course you did not run away from the mouse! You really did not want to bother with something so trivial as a mouse or rat! There!
Well, if there had been something there, Natasha would have been on the case! Probably good thinking to quietly withdraw when things get crazy, Lorenza.
Lorenza, smart---letting the others deal with whatever it was. But we know you "had their backs" just in case. Natasha looks a lot like little Nicky who is being fostered at our house until she finds her furever home. Happy Easter Wags Ernie, Sasha, Chica
First of all, Happy Easter! And I would stay away too, Lorenza - you are definitely one smart girl - and so pretty too! Have a furry peaceful Sunday! Hugs xo Sammie
hi Lorenza, she must have smelled something delicious under the stove. maybe a spider? hee hee! you were the smart girl to leave her alone and go play with the humans.
We were positive there must be a critter under there but I guess we were wrong - we would have loved to take care of it for you! Hugs Thor and Marco Polo
In our house, it would have been a mouse! We live on the edge of a lot of land with grain hay and they come in all the time. Auntie Sadie and now the new dog, Poppi, catch them everyday. We are trying, but Auntie is always faster than us! The Country Corgi Pups

Marge will paw at the stove for hours if a morsel of food goes underneath it! Maybe that's what Natasha is doing here.
Teehee! I love your solution - run away and let someone else deal with it! Very smart!

From one Natasha to another - go after those creatures! It makes the humans really wonder.

Hi, Lorenza...
You got the right idea...
Just let everyone else deal with whatever it is & you can just walk around looking adorable...
