Spanish lesson...




It is still very hot. This is the only way I can be "almost" outside!

  1. OMD. You got the Spanish word for bark??? That's amazing, is what that is. Barking, of course, is a universal language, but are you bilingual in human-speak? I learned English when I moved in with my furever family. Before that I only understood French, even though I lived in the US. I think dogs are much more sensible, having one language for all of us.

    Found out that yesterday we had a heat index of 107...eek. Lucky we did not know that. Tonight is supposed to be 50F! We will probably need coats again.

  11. My dogs like to "ladras" a lot when they're out in the yard! bol

    I'm so sorry it's still so warm there. We had another day filled with chilly rain storms here. I really wish we could somehow figure out a way to switch weather for a little while.

    Now I can add a new Spanish word to my vocabulary!

    Its very cool here, windy and not quite 68 F at 9:30pm. And so it stays, made it to 70 earlier today and thats warm weather to us!

  19. You gave Moma a good idea, Lorenza. One we've been waiting on for a while. It finally got warm, almost hot here today. And ... with your inspriation ... the storm window is out of the door and the screen is in and NOW I can lie in front of the door and look out and be "almost outside" too!

  26. Hi Lorenza, it's going to get up to 77 degrees, maybe a bit more this weekend up here. It's been wet and cool so this will be nicer for walkies. My dad's dragging out the air conditioner to help keep me and the other furry kids cool. Hope it cools down for you too.

  35. IT IS SOOOOO HOT where you live. We have had crazy weather too. I'm sorry it's so hot, I have never felt heat like that. I liked your little green dress the other day.

    that's totally awesome sauce that you got ladras as your word verification thingie! thankies for teachin' me a new spanish word, too, cuz i looked it up, and now i know that it means to bark! heehee!
    i know how you are feelin' with the steamy heats! it really makes you feel super pooped if you go outside for more than a few minutes. mama 'n daddy have to take me 'n asa out really early in the mornin' or in the evenin' so it's not too hot for us.
