Once she starts...

Natasha, Spike and me on our Christmas walkie!

*****

Since my Vet told my mom not to give me treats with preservatives, she decided to make them for me!
And after 5 years looking for a bone-shaped cookie cutter, she finally found one!

My mom made the cookies in the way she thought it was right.... (?)

The result...

Taste- test-time...
I gave them my approval!

Now, I have lots of treats in the fridge... just for me!

Yummilicious!

Have a good night

  4. Hi Lorenza,

We are so happy that you have recovered. We were so worried for you and you have always been in our thoughts since we learned that you were sick.

Those treats your Mom made for you looks delicious. Wonder when our humans would start making us some. Our humans have been looking for those bone-shaped cookie cutters too and have not found them yet. She's looking for one that is small since we are not big dogs.

  6. I've been trying to get my asst. to make me cookies like that forever:(

I thought of you Lorenza when I was at the VET... yes, it was a butticure. There seems to be some kind of epidemic cause so many dogs have been having this done. I wonder if it's just a way for the evil VET's to get more money.

  7. We think homemade treats are so much better anyway - glad your mom made you some. She should check out all the recipes on Sugar's blog - they are so yummy.

  10. When I told Sue of the Porties that I didn't like to cut out cookies, she said just roll them out, cut into strips the size you want, (like 1 or 2 inches), then cut those into rectangles that would be the size you'd like for your dog's treat so thats what I do. I promised to make Stella a batch tomorrow.
Good for you Veronica for taking such good care of our little girl!

    Cheers,
    Jo and Stella

  48. Good to see you have Quality Control in hand. Looks like your mom's cookies passed with flying colors. Abby has chronic pancreatitis, so mama has to watch our diet like a hawk, too. Which is actually unfair, as I, Jed, don't have issues but I am still stuck with the low fat, restricted diet. Sheesh!

Your Christmas dress is really beautiful! You certainly have a well dressed family.
