Sunday... sun day...

The weather here is very crazy these days. Yesterday was cold, cloudy and windy. Today was warmer and sunny...

As soon as I woke up and while my mom was making the bed, I went to my balcony for a sunbath!

Later I went out for a walkie (wearing my pajamas because my lazy mom did not want to change it for a dress!)

Suddenly... I saw a new neighbor...

And she saw me too...

Looking at each other...

And she was mean...

That was scary, right? Thankfully she was behind the gate if not....

Have a good night

  1. Oooh. Not a very nice neighbor at all! S/he looks like a poodle (or a mix) - they can be CRAZY, you know. I mean, take my little sister. She's a cracker dog... (Oh. Yeah. Same parents as me. Nevermind.) I can't believe your Mom had you walk in your pajamas! Just because she's lazy, your fashion shouldn't suffer! :-)

  2. Lorenza! You were right to run away. No sense trying to argue with doggies that are mad at you.

But I agree with Fiona. Walking in your PJ's is a real fashion faux pas. I hope nobody saw you.

  3. Mom made you go for your walk in your jammies?!?! Oh, no!! Not cool, mom! Hahahahaha!

I can't believe any doggie would bark at your sweet little face. Maybe he/she was just scared and will be friends with you soon.

  4. She was just so not nice!!! And the worst part wa sthat she waited until the last second to bark at you. Here's hoping she realizes she is losing out on a great furiend.

  8. Wow! She waited until you got right up to her and then she charged! What a bratty dog she was. Don't go visiting her anymore.

  9. I'm thinkin' that you were just wearing you lounging jammies there. That should be OK since it was only a Morning walkie... not Evening.
You are right... that was acting mean as a snake... and fast as one too!!! I'm sure the Pittie Pack are correct in saying that she was just all green with jellyness.
I'm very much glad that you are safe and sound.

I LOVE your Balcony. I'm just sayin'.

  17. Nasty Neighbour! You were very brave. Its best not to bother with attitudes like that!

    I've heard poodles are "different"

  18. Your jammies are really cute and they look quite comfortable, but I don't know about going out in them...

What a Nasty little neighbor you have... Sort of like ours. At least yours is behind bars and she couldn't get at you. Mom's mother had a Nasty little poodle once too. She also had one that was a sweet heart that was so wonderful to everyone she met. Since she is new, maybe she is just sort of scared? OC

  20. Oh dear.. sorry that your new neighbour isn't friendly... or else it'd have been nice to have a new friend in the neighbourhood.

Hmmm.. you were made to go out in your PJs??! That's so NOT right!! (Wait a minute, was your new neighbour trying to alert you that you have worn the wrong clothes out?)

That was not very hospitable of your neighbour, Bridget is like that with other dogs but it is just because she is scared of them.

  25. Aw, Lorenza, that WAS scary! I wouldn't take it personally, though. Maybe she's just afraid of strangers. It was so nice of you to say hello to your new neighbor though!

  26. Poor Lorenza! Sorry your new neighbor was a little bit mean. I would be very scairted!

  27. Woooos! That neighbor may be a bit territorial, don't woo think??? Wooo need to leave doggies like that alone unless they are not at home, maybe then he would be friendlier. Nothing wrong with lazing about in your jammies all day!

Is that what you guys call a "Mexican Stand-off?"

She was just staring you down with her little beady eyes. Oh well... she's not going to make many friends in this neighborhood with an attitude like that!

  45. Lorenza, seeing you peek around the corner at the doggie is one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time! I'm sorry she was so grumpy. You are a good girl and don't deserve that kind of treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  46. oh no.... she looked like Fo..maybe just bring her a small piece of chicken next time and she will be more ....friendly. Poodles are very social, but sometimes they just can't shut their mouths... It is actually a big fashion statement to wear pajamas (for college students anyway). PJs and flip flops.

  55. You look so cute edging your way to see who the neighbor dog is! AND what a horrible reception! Scared you, didn't it?? We were told that the bark is just a form of distance greeting, so perhaps neighbor dog was just sending you a hardy "hello"!! We do that in the car ALL the time and it drives our mommy nuts!
