Celebrations!

Happy Birthday Stanley!

Happy Second Anniversary of DWB!

Happy Birthday Kena!
**************************************
Today, we were about to go out for my walkie and we heard a big crash! This is what we saw when we came out....
Ouch! Our neighbor's car

Looking again for the cat

Then, we where in the middle of our walkie when we heard the "pastrymobile". Let me tell you. Here in Mexico the sweet bread is very popular. You go to the "panaderia" (place where the bread is made) and buy it. But here in our neighborhood, we don't have to go to the panaderia. There is a car that comes every afteroon selling the bread. It goes street by street. You know it is here because of the music. So, when we hear it today, we did not know where it was so me and my mom started to run like crazies looking for it! It was like 3 blocks ahead! Then we had to wait until my grandpa came to choose the ones he wanted. The sweet bread is delicious! I know it because my grandpa gave a little bit of it!

Then, time for dinner....

Yummy!

And time for a nap!

Have a good night

  1. Hi, Lorenza -

All of the sweet bread looks delicious. We don't have trucks that sell bread like that, but we do have ice cream trucks.

Mama told Kaci and I that Bosco knew what the ice cream truck sounded like and would go crazy with excitement. She would get ice cream when she heard the truck come down the street.

Wasn't Kena's barkday party a lot of fun? We also went to the Dogs with Blogs Chat Room and met some other doggies.

    Love -

  11. Hi Lorenza,
I just sniffed a bit around on the www and came across your very scary eyes... GREAT!
A breadmobile like that in your blog would be the fulfillment of my dreams.
Here in England, we have only the icecream van from time to time..
Why don't you pop by on my blog and leave your photo in my guest book?

  14. Sweetbread delivered to you in a musical truck? Lorenza, you live in PARADISE! Tell your mom we are all very, very jealous here. The only truck like that around here is the Schwann's Man, and he just sells overpriced frozen potpies.

  21. Oh poor car. Wow, those breads do look deeleecious! Here in Malaysia, there are motorbikes & sometimes vans that sell goodies. My mommy always buy bred from the bread man who comes with the motorbike. I usually help out to choose the bread & then carry some home.

  29. Hi Lorenza,

Those sweet breads look like the doughnuts we have here in the states. There are stores on every corner selling these, so the humans here must like them too! We have an ice cream man that comes, with music playing too, but he doesn't bring breads...he brings ICE CREAM (helado?)which I have tried and it's yummy!

We are not too far from the border of Mexico so we get alot of different products from accross the border over here! So we know, yes that bread is very good! Of course if we eat too much of it we will gain a couple of extra pounds! Ha! Ha!

  46. Hey, Lorenza!

I WISH we had one of those sweet bread cars here in GooberSTan. I'm going to get right on that. Right now all we have is the icecream truck, and we know when it's near because of the really bad music they play. When the kids hear it they come running out of their houses to buy a frozen treat. I think I'd rather buy donuts.

Give your grandpa a big smoocharoonie from me for giving you some sweet bread. And, by the way, you look very sweet yourself in your spring dress.

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley
