Cross stitch almost finished!
Naked after my bath!Yesterday was a holiday here in Mexico, so my mom stayed with me all day long. We wake up not too early, she gave me my breakfast and we went out for a walkie. When we came back we were playing with my balls until she got tired. We took a nap and had lunch. Later she gave me a bath (which I loved it) and brushed my teeth (which I hated it). Then she continued with her cross stitch work that BTW is almost finished! While she was stitching I was doing silly things trying to get her attention. When she took the camera I stopped what I was doing and decided to sleep. It was not a little nap. I slept for almost 2 hours! That helped my mom to advance a lot of her stitching! We went out for another walkie. I had my dinner and went to bed early. That was the end of my long weekend with my mom!

That sounds like a great day (except for the bath part). Your Mom must be faster at cross stitching than my Mom is because the one she's working on is taking forever. She says it's because she keep shaving to stop to play with me, but she doesn't do that very often so I don't believe her.

Wow, your mom must have been working hard on that cross stitch to be almost done SO SOON!
ReplyDeleteI got your comment about the pupcake recipe. I can email the Word Doc to you, if you want. Also, my Mom altered the recipe. Here is what she did for my pupcakes. I'm sure your Mom can get creative and add shredded cheese toppings or a cute little bone biscuit on top or peanut butter frosting!
Here is what Mom says she did:
--Skipped the beef jerky
--Halved the recipe, except I used the whole jar of baby food. I figured I might as well. What would I do with the other unused half? Then I added in a bit more flour so the cupcake wouldn't be so wet. It made 5 pupcakes.
--Used olive oil instead of corn oil
--Baked in cupcake containers for about 25-30 minutes at the same temperature. I watched them as they baked the last few minutes. They looked kinda wet on the top, but when I stuck a fork in it, they seemed okay.
--I would recommend cutting down on either the butter or the oil. When I handled the cupcakes, the paper part seemed a bit oily.
--It is definitely easier to frost with plain yogurt (I used yogurt last year). With the cottage cheese, you kinda have to smash it on the cupcake to make it stay, otherwise it'll fall off.
