Sunny and rainy day....

Thanks to all of you who were concerned about my suddenly absence. I did not do it on purpose. Someone stole all the phone wire in our neighborhood leaving us without phone or internet for 5 days. I wanted to make a long post about that but then I thought... life it too short to be complaining about the things we can't change. We do our part trying to be good people and hoping things will be better here in Mexico soon.

We had a mixed weather this weekend. Sunny, rainy, sunny, rainy. So, in the afternoon, we went out for my walkie before the rain could get us outside...

I saw birdies having baths... and I wanted to join them!

I looked for the mean barking doggie...

Then... the sky started making noises and we had to run back home...

Here I am anticipating my yummy dinner...

5 minutes later, the sky was getting dark...

And then... rain again.

And that was the end of my weekend!

Santos.... lost the final

I did not have a happy sunday... Santos played the final game for the Championship and they lost! In the very last moment. They failed to score two penalties.

Hmmm.... there is always a next time, right?

1.- I was born on November 2th, 2005. Here in Mexico, on Nov 2th, we celebrate El Dia de los Muertos (The Dead’s Day). Life and death.... hmmmm
2.- I live with my mom, but I stay with my grandma and my grandpa during the day while my mom is at work.
3.- I love to wear my dresses because they mean walkies! My grandma makes them. To this day I have 153.
4.- I love baths! I could have a bath every single day but my mom is so mean and she only gives me one every two weeks.
5.- I have a bad thyroid and I have to take a pill every morning to control it.
6.- I always finish my posts and comments saying “Kisses and hugs”… but I don’t give kisses or hugs. My mom loves to hug me. And every time she does it… I try to run away from her!
7.- I never poo outside my house. I do it in my own bathroom. If I go out for my walkie and then I want to poo, I start running toward my house and I don’t poo until I am there!

It took us 4 hours to make this post. We started it at 7pm and then we had a very big "tolvanera" (dust devil), that of course took away the power in our neighborhood. I wonder why these things happen when we have 90 degrees. It is very hot inside our house and we can't open the windows due to the dust!

It is almost midnight... and I have not been able to visit your blogs. I promise I will do it tomorrow!

Nice walkie on wednesday...

Since today was a very hot day... my walkie was veeeeery short. But even so...

I took my time to smell the flowers...

Hmmm... not really. None of them were at my level but it was nice to look at them...

Huh?

Haaaaaa!

Sorry doggie. You can bark at me all you want... but I am the one who is outside enjoying a nice walkie!

Santos played today...

This morning, I went with my grandma and my mom to run some errands. My mom told me that I had to wear my Santos lucky dress because they were going to play this afternoon to decide if they would pass to the finals of the tournament. Soooo... once I was ready... out we went...

Boooooring waiting....

Happy when she came back...

Getting out of the car to come into my house!


We came back at noon, we had lunch and then a looong nap.

Later we watched the game and... and...

My lucky dress worked...!

Santos won 7-1!

We were waiting to see people outside celebrating like in past occasions but due to the bad things that have been happening here, I think everyone is celebrating safely at home!

Our Mother's Day...

Here in Mexico, we celebrate Mother's Day on May 10th.

Yesterday my mom HAD to go to work but she came at noon and then we went to buy food to celebrate.

While my Grandma went into the restaurant I took my time to sniff... the plants...

Some walking...

And more waiting... and after 45 minutes...

Are we ready to go home?

The Paella and the cake were yummy!

Not a big celebration but enough to spend a nice time together. And after that I enjoyed a nice and long nap with my mom.

I never looked into big, soulful eyes and cried.

I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop a hurt.

I never knew something so furry and four-legged could affect my heart so deeply.

Before I was a Dog Mom:

I had never held a sleeping puppy just because I couldn't put it down.

I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was well.

I didn't know how warm it feels inside to feed a hungry puppy.

I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important.

Before I was a Dog Mom:

I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being

Visit to my Vet... again

Where we go?? Where we go??

Oh-noes!!

Maybe if I look outside they will not notice I am here...

Pfrrrrtttt... This is what I think of you car ride mom....

Hmmm...

Things did not go as I expected. Yesterday morning I woke up with a little cough cough.
My grandma and my mom went out as they planned but told my grandpa to keep an eye on me about that cough.

They came at noon and I still had it.

We all had lunch and then a phone call to my Vet for an appointment.

My grandma put me on a new dress and there we went.

My Vet checked me and he said I had a not so severe inflamation. But I got a shot.

And... once we were there... the butticure! Hmmm....

The only good thing about it is that the cough is now gone.

Today morning I went out with my grandma and my mom to run some errands and I walked a lot while my grandma was into the stores shopping.

A good nap and later I will go out for another walkie!
