Todays is Mother's Day in Mexico!

Here in Mexico, Mother's Day is celebrated on May 10th. Never change. It is not considered an official holiday but almost everyone uses to get half day off from work.

My grandpa took my grandma for lunch to a nice restaurant. My mom came home at 2:30 pm. And while we were waiting for my grandparents to come home, we had a very nice nap!

I gave to my grandma and to my mom a present...

Do you want to see it?

Ta-Da!

Well... It was my grandpa who bought them, but he wrote my name in the card!
Pawesome, right?


My mom's present to my grandma is a work in progress.
Yes. Another of her projects. But this one has been the hardest since she has no idea how some machines work!
I will show it when it is finished, ok?

    Oh my goodness! All mothers should move to Mexico so they can earn some much needed respect! I mean, how can a mother go wrong with a country that pretty much considers Mother's Day as a national holiday! I love the white roses you bought, Lorenza!

    That sounds like a better arrangement than we have here. It's not "official" here, but it's always on a Sunday and no one gets any time off from work.

    What beautiful flowers! We didn't get our Mama anything... because dogs aren't allowed in the store and Gramma and Grampa wouldn't help us. But We gave Mama lots of cuddles instead! That is interesting about Mother's Day in Mexico!
