109 degrees!!!

Yes. 109 degrees. It is soooooo hot...

Thinking about my options...

My options are not good!
And the weatherman said it is just the beginning!
I have to stay inside my house...

And this is the fresher spot in my house right now... even with the carpet!


My weekend was not the best.
No walkies for me due to the temps.
At 10pm we have 90-95 degrees.
Some of you have suggested to go out for walkies at night when it is not "too hot".
But... things here are still very bad and it is dangerous to go out when is dark.
*Sigh*

    Holy cow!! That is way too hot for only early April!! We had 85 here on Saturday and that was hot enough for me!

    OMD Lorenza, I cannot believe how HOT it was there today. Good thing that it is cool in your nice house.

    We don't go out at night either because it is not safe here either. There are NO street lights, we have a gravel road. But more importantly we have bears and cougars and more.

    Mommy says that you are more than welcome to stay with me here in the woods of Southern Oregon where we have LOTS of shade.

    Wow thats hot! It was only 7C here today. That about 45F. I cant imagine what 109F would feel like.

    Lorenza, that is very hot and it's only April! Will you eat ice-cubes? That was one of the things that helped Clive last summer when it was so hot in South Carolina. He really enjoyed them!

    Lorenza! You might need to start using the treadmill just to stay in shape. That is way too hot. Hot like the surface of the sun for sure.

    Doesn't your weather man know that we dachshunds are 70 degree dawgs? 69 is too cold and anything over 71 is tooo hot fur us.

    Maybe you can get your grandma to make a special dress that has pockets fur Ice Cubes so you can stay cool on your walks.

    Guess that is hotter than what we have here! During the day when it is hot, we sleep on tiled floor and when it is cooler in the nights, we sleep in our beds or on the sofa.

    Oh no, Lorenza, that is WAY too hot! Do you like swimming in the tub? We can't think of any other cool indoor activity - other than warming the AC vent. Maybe it will get better...

    Have your mom freeze plastic bottles with water in them. She can put a towel down and place several of these frozen bottles on top of the towels and you will lay down next to it. It makes you feel very good!

    Sheesh Lorenza.....109 degrees outside yer house......I tell ya even I would melt if it was that hot.....'n we thought it was hot here.....it was about 90 here....we keep waitin' fer it ta cool off a bit but it isn't gettin' any cooler at all......we sure hope ya have air conditionin' so ya can cool off a bit...or go inta yer pool....
