What the....







What the hell whas that???

Today morning my mom woke up very early. She brought the laptop to the bed and turned it on. Then I woke up too and joined her and we started reading your blogs while she was giving me nice belly rubs. Then we heard a big BOOM!... that left us without power.

The big transformer that is just outside our house was the culprit!

It was not the first time it happens but today we did not have rain or wind that are the usual causes for that. All I know is... it was soooooo scary!


The power came back around 6pm.
Perfect excuse for a very lazy sunday!

    You look like you were begging for some tummy rubs there, Lorenza. We sure hope you got them before the power went out. That is one startled look you have on your face - must have been one big bang.

    Oh, you had as an exciting a day as we did. Except we had a bad t-storm and it knocked out our DSL while the computer was off. Heard the "sizzle" before the boom of the transformer. And then the thunder broke right overhead. It was scary.

    Finally got internet back about dinner time. Whew! Was having withdrawal. :)

    Hi Lorenza, yikes that must have been scary and right outside your house too! Sometimes it happens here too but no exploding transformers, just some careless driver taking out a utility pole.
