My mom is back!

And I am very happy!

Papers for her mission...

Got it!

My mom's US Visa expired on May. She had been trying to renew it but due to all the problems here in Mexico it was not possible.

The closest US Consulate is located in Monterrey, that is 190 miles away from here. Instead of that she had to go to Guadalajara, that is 490 miles away.

She spent around 1000 US dollars for all the tramit and was nervous because you never know if you are going to get it! No questions about her job, or bank account or anything else.

Just one... "You are single, right?"... "Right".... "Have you ever been married?".... "No"...
"OK".... "Done"..... "Next!"...
And that was it! For the next 10 years she can go to the US without a problem!

Not that she goes there very often. In fact, she has not gone there since I came to live with her! But she likes to have it available... just in case.

She came back today at 3:30 am and I was really happy to see her.

Enjoying "my bed" again!


Thanks a lot for your good luck wishes. Of course they worked!

    Sounds expensive but as long as you are both well and happy.

    Wow, what an ordeal! Just for some silly papers? What is it with these humans? My mom once had to get a visa to visit Russia, and let me tell you it was crazy! It was fun to see her name written in all those crazy letters though! Glad you made it home safely!
