Presidents Cup weekend...

Golf, golf, golf... My mom watched the Presidents Cup all weekend!
This time it was too much for me....
Sleeping on this side of the sofa....

Then... on the other side...

Then with my grandma...

Then I tried the other sofa...

Is it over?? Can we go out for my walkie now??

******************************
We had a very sporty weekend. Friday night... Yankees. Saturday (all day) Presidents Cup. Saturday afternoon... soccer. Mexico got its place for the World Cup! Sunday... Presidents Cup... and Yeah! USA! USA! Now... ready for the Yankees game!
Yes, it was too much for me but I have to admit I had several walkies too!
*********************************
Have a good night

  2. Ooh, golf makes me want to take a nap too. Unless you get to chase after the ball..wouldn't that be fun??

  5. Hi Lorenza,

You look so sad in those pictures. I am glad to read that you got some walkies in at least.

Our weekend was kinda boring too. The only fun we had was playing in the house with Radar.

  6. Mom and Dad RECORDED the golf (don't worry - Mom had guessed who had won, so you didn't spoil it for her), because they were racing the Big Yellow Car today. But now it's football and more football, and baseball and golf.... Luckily Mom really only like watching the golf. If I had to rely on Dad? I'd have to nap for the next 3 weeks while he caught up on everything!

  8. We had lots of football on here but Mom doesn't like football - soooooo that meant some good long walks for us.

    Have a great week, Lorenza.

  10. At least you could snooze during the commercials, and pay attention when the action comes on! Snuggling with Grandma must be nice too!

Nothing doing today here! Very boring!

  11. You and mom should have joined us on our long walkie today. We walked in the woods, behind the golf course where there were people playing! Sounds like a good compromise, right?

  13. Hmm, back and forth and back and forth ... are you sure it wasn't tennis?

  14. Lorenza, I know the real reason those sports were too much for you today! I won't spoil it for you though. I can understand why your mom didn't believe what happened until she saw it herself. I wouldn't believe it either. You might need to get some extra naps in this week to recover from your break dancing!

  16. My parents kept hearing about "president's cup", "president's cup", "president's cup" all over the news. However the news never said what it actually was! But, FINALLY, on today's news, they showed a segment on golf! So, we finally figured out what it meant. We did not know there was a golfing place in San Francisco... at least I think it was San Francisco. I guess we don't pay too much attention to activities in San Francisco. There is too much traffic so we hardly ever go out to San Francisco.

  19. What is the Presidents Cup?
We also like to watch TV while we sit on the sofa or on mummy's lap. We also like to go for a walk but mammy is very busy and we have to do with our yard. Although, from time to time, some of us escapes under the wire fence forgetting that mom&dad get very angry. They are afraid that we might get lost.

  23. That is a lot of sports in one weekend. No wonder you fell asleep. I mean, only so much a girl can handle, right? Besides, you would have to keep changing your outfits to be dressed for the right game.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen you in a golf skirt yet.

  26. Hi Lorenza, I was "relieved" to know that you did get out for some walkies, what with all those sports and all. You certainly made proper use of the couches. President's Cup??? My mom and dad only know about the COFFEE Cup. I think the best sport (other than Baseball) is... the Dachshund Dash.

My dear lovely friend, I don't want to spoil the surprise but I can't help but ask you if the mailman stop by your house lately?
I sent a package to "you know who" the same time with Maggie&Mitch, Momo&Pinot and Khyra, all of them have received it so I hope you should have received it as well by now.
Please let me know, not much pressies, just the thought that counts, hehe!

  33. Oh yea! We had football on over here, Lorenza. And, while dad is watching, I am snaggle-toothing everything in sight to get his attention!
We kept hearing about the President's Cup too...but more about the caterers that got the day confused and ended up donating a lot of fancy food to a local SF dining hall! Isn't that great!

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

  34. Hi Lorenza
We find watching golf always sends us to sleep - we think it might be the hushed voices they use - do you know why they talk like that?
We are glad you went out for walkies too - golf is not our favourite game at all!!!
