Mean mom...

I smell something...

I know something....

I know! My treats are up there!

Are you going to give me another one??

No??

No problem! I am going to be here until you change your mind!
******************************************
My plan did not work. She told me I am allowed to eat just one treat per day and she did not give me another one and I went to sleep on the bed 30 minutes later!
*******************************************
Have a good night

  2. Mean Mommy. I guess Mommy's know best though. I am only allowed a certain amount of treats per day too. Should we go on strike and demand more?

  16. We have a mean Mommy too. We never get food from the table and our treats are limited as well. So we feel your pain Lorenza. We hope your Mom will give in and give you just one extra...or even a half of an extra one.

  25. Doesn't she know that in dog-time, a day is a whole WEEK!?!

So unfair! Every time you wake up from a nap should be considered a new day!

  26. Oh, she is tough, isn't she, Lorenza? Maybe you need to have her cut one in half so you can half later in the day.

  28. Hi Lorenza
Yes we agree moms can be very mean! We often think too that if we had legs we could reach high up places!
Now our Dad is not so mean as our mum he will give extra treats if you look pleadingly - still he doesn't have to answer to the vet!
We do so hope you dont starve Lorenza!

  29. Grandpa has the cheese, doesn't he?
Go visit him when you need something!

I don't very often ask for a treat, I just eat my breakfast and dinner and sort of forget about treats. But if my Mom has a little ham, then I ask! So does Ali Z!

    Kisses,
    Stella

  34. Hi Lorenza,

    What a pretty dress!

I think you should ask your Mom for 2 cookies a day. Because you always go for such long walks every day! Try that, you never know.

  36. Our Dearest Lorenza,

We are so sad for you but we think we have a solution to your problem.

Just pretend you are fainting then drop on the floor but keep one eye open so you can see if your mommy falls for it. It works every time!

We luv you and let us know how it works out.

    Luv,
    Star and Riley.

  41. That's why ours are in the closet. So unfair. Humans have their own fridge and we have to beg for treats.

    ReplyDelete
  42. treats here are also on top of the refrigerator....6 ft up, because certain poodles are good jumpers and have stolen granola bars and muffins and peanut butter candy bars off the stove top....not naming any specific poodles, just saying this has happened....

    It is totally not fair.

  45. Lorenza, how many dresses do you have now?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hi Lorenza! Thanks for stopping by our blog! Your mommy sure is mean for keeping your treats out in plain sight...ours keeps our treats somewhere in a cabinet that we haven't figured out how to open...but we're working on it!

  51. Only one treat per day **fainting** That's just not healthy. You tell your mom that you will starve on that diet!

    ReplyDelete
  52. aww, i know how you feel, Lorenza. but it's okay, mom has your best interest at heart cause when i was a porky dachshund it was harder for me to run and jump and skip and stuff. and i know mom will always give me a treat, just not when i want one, so that's okay...

  53. Hi Lorenza!!! Cochina...might be a good nickname for me too....Madi

  54. We will be right there..All we have to do is stand on Archies back(I think both of us) and we will reach them..Then you empty the bag, hide the goods, we will put the empy bag back on top and you pretend not to know anything when she opens the bag..This is a great plan..Love A+A

  59. There isn't anything a nap can't cure.

  60. I don't see any way on earth your Mom could resist that look! Maybe I need to come to Mexico and have a little chat with her so she understands the importance your treats? I could bring my cousin Griffin with me...hehe!

  62. Hi, Lorenza -

I (Hershey) have the opposite problem. I could care less how many treats I get in a day. Mama says I am not a chow hound. But I keep telling her that I have to keep my "figure" slim and trim.

    Hi, Lorenza -
