Get out of here!Today I made a discovery. I hate flies! They are the most annoying creatures I ever met. Let me tell you. During the day I did all my normal activities, you know, eating, playing, napping, walking, etc. Later I went to take my post as a watchdog. I was there relaxing on my pillows, watching people and cars, barking a little bit. Everything cool! Then I saw something.... two flies! They were going and going. Suddenly they begun attaking me!! I tried to trap them but oh boy! how they fly around!! They were not to fast... but obviously faster than me! I didn't have luck. My mom had to kill them. It was the only way I could continue enjoying my time there in the railing. My mom says that every day you learn something new.... well.... yes... today I learnt about flies and how I hate them!

Flies make me dizzy Lorenza...they buzz around my head and I can't ever catch them either and you know how fast I am. Good thing your Mom was there to help you!

ReplyDeleteI hate flies too. We get these big slow long legged bugs here ... we call them mosquito eaters ... and I can catch them. I kill them but don't eat them.

Uuughh! I HATE flies too but guess who likes? My sista Faith LOVES them! She see them buzzing around she goes crazy with them & crunches on them until they're dead. Sometimes she etas them too. So yucky!

Tealeaf has a fly obsession too, he can never rest when they are buzzing about, but the best one for catching flies is General Jacksons friend Luca - he is an EXPERT flycatcher (but hey - that's collies for you!)

WE HATE FLIES TOO !! Here in Texas we got lots. Toby watches them very closely and them jumps when they aren't looking with their beedy little eyes. He gets very excited because he catches them everytime.
ReplyDeleteMommy tells him to stop and let her do it with a fly swatter cause he barks REALLY loud and then wants her to come look at his kill. Toby says he don't want no flies bothering his sweetie so he has voluntered to protect you.
Gotta go, we just got up to pottie and told Mom to check on everybody.
Back to bed for us. Sleep tight....

I can't stand flies either! I bark at them and then mom swings the dish towel at them and I realize then that they have to die! Flies make me mental!

ReplyDeleteYou are a great watch dog for keeping an eye on those flies. Try snapping at them. It's great fun to try and catch them in mid air. Takes practice.
