This sunday was a little bit different. It was my grandma's birthday. I got up at 6 am and got my bath. My mom put me a new dress and we went to sing the Happy Birthday to my grandma. Then we went out for a walkie and to buy some things that my mom needed for my grandma's mini party which was our lunch. (Here in Mexico, the lunch is the strongest meal of the day and it happens between 1 and 2 pm). My mom cooked (yes, she cooks believe it or not) grilled chicken, paella (spanish rice), potato salad, green salad and for dessert ice cream (I had a little). Then my human cousins came and I played a lot with them. We ate and later they played Monopoly and then they had some more ice cream and cake. While they were playing my grandpa was throwing the ball for me until he got very tired. Later my cousins said good bye and now I am taking a nap while my mom is washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen.
My grandma received lots of presents and she was very happy having our family here sharing her big day!
